Customizing the mouse buttons

You can change the function of a mouse button to perform a specific task. Here's how:

1. Launch the Logitech SetPoint Mouse and Keyboard Software.

   NOTE: If you don't have SetPoint installed, you can download it from the EX 100 Downloads Page.

   Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Mouse and Keyboard Settingss

2. Click the My Mouse tab at the top of the SetPoint Settings window.

   NOTE: If you have more than one Logitech mouse and the Cordless Optical one that came with your EX 100 isn't currently displayed, click the down-arrow icon next to the current product name and select it from the drop-down menu that displays.

   

3. Choose the mouse button you want to customize in the Select Button field.
   NOTE:  If the Button Settings screen isn't showing, click the mouse icon on the left toolbar to display it.
   

   

4. Choose the task you want the button to perform under Select Task.
   NOTE: You can click the "?" icon next to Button Settings at the top for detailed descriptions of these options.

   

   When you select some tasks here, you'll be able to choose additional customization options in the sub-section displayed.

5. Click Apply to save your settings and then OK to exit SetPoint.

    

Adjusting your mouse movements

You can change the pointer speed, adjust the scrolling size and customize your cursor for your EX 100 mouse. Here's how:

1. Launch the Logitech SetPoint Mouse and Keyboard Software.

   NOTE: If you don't have SetPoint installed, you can download it from the EX 100 Downloads Page.

   Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Mouse and Keyboard Settings 1

2. Click the My Mouse tab at the top of the SetPoint Settings window.

   NOTE: If you have more than one Logitech mouse and the Cordless Optical one that came with your EX 100 isn't currently displayed, click the down-arrow icon next to the current product name and select it from the drop-down menu that displays.

3. Click the cursor icon on the left toolbar to display the Pointer and Scrolling Settings screen.

   

4. Use the drop-down menus, sliders, and check boxes to find the mouse settings that are right for you.

5. Click Apply to save your settings and then OK to exit SetPoint.

Checking the battery status

You can check the battery status for your mouse in SetPoint. Here's how:

1. Launch the Logitech SetPoint Mouse and Keyboard Software.

   NOTE: If you don't have SetPoint installed, you can download it from the EX 100 Downloads Page.

   Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Mouse and Keyboard Settings

2. Click the My Mouse tab at the top of the SetPoint Settings window.

   NOTE: If you have more than one Logitech mouse and the Cordless Optical one that came with your EX 100 isn't currently displayed, click the down-arrow icon next to the current product name and select it from the drop-down menu that displays.

   

3. Click the battery icon on the left toolbar to display the Mouse Batteries screen and check your battery status.

4. Click OK to exit SetPoint

Customizing mouse settings for games

In addition to adjusting the standard mouse settings, you can specify certain settings when playing games. Here's how:

1. Launch the Logitech SetPoint Mouse and Keyboard Software.

   NOTE: If you don't have SetPoint installed, you can download it from the EX 100 Downloads Page.

   Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Mouse and Keyboard Settings

2. Click the My Mouse tab at the top of the SetPoint Settings window.

   NOTE: If you have more than one Logitech mouse and the Cordless Optical one that came with your EX 100 isn't currently displayed, click the down-arrow icon next to the current product name and select it from the drop-down menu that displays.

3. Click the chess game piece icon on the left toolbar to display the Game Settings screen.

   

4. Use the drop-down menus and check boxes to find the mouse game settings that are right for you.

5. Click OK to exit SetPoint
