Can Circle View Camera be placed behind a window?

Can the Circle View camera be placed behind a window pointing outside to the street and still recognize movement?  My current Circle 2 camera has no issues being behind glass and works very well.

The reason I am asking is I just purchased an Eve Cam and learned that it does not detect or recognize movement when placement is behind a window or glass. It's infrared motion sensor can't see through glass. So if there's a glass door to your front porch or there's a window looking out to your patio or yard, Eve Cam won't detect any motion behind it and thus also not trigger notifications, automations or recordings.

  Thanks. I’d really like to know the answer to this. I’ve returned the Eve Cam and want to check out the Circle View to replace my Circle 2 which is constantly disconnecting from Wi-Fi. It’s the oldest of the 3 I currently have. I think it’s on it’s way out.
