sometimes in Options+ my custom settings for Opera GX v81.x are broken. I have to re-set all my Options+ settings for this browser software. I use the 0.61.2670 version.
Coud you take a look, please?
Note: I don’t know why there are 4 identical topics with the same subject, it’s non-productive:
I have the following products:
- T650 (T-R0004) Wireless Touchpad - not supported in Options+ (specific features supported only in SetPoint)
- Craft (Y-R0064) Keyboard w/ dial - not supported in Options+ (specific features supported only in Options)
- MX Ergo (R0065) Trackball w/ tilt base - supported in Options+ (and Options)
Then there is:
- G933 Artemis Spectrum Wireless 7.1 Gaming Headset - supported only in GHub.
As you can see from list above, I must run four (that's 4) driver/settings apps, one for each device.
Logitech has listed Craft Keyboard in Options+ for two years as "not supported yet". So, when does that 'yet' come in to play?
T650 Trackpad does not even show up in Options+. It works w/o specific features unless SetPoint is running. (That's for three or four finger swipes, special tap zones, etc.)
Since gamers have special needs, i.e., specific options each connected to various games, I suggest Logitech support G933 headsets & others like it, in both Options+ and GHub, not just GHub alone. This could give non-gamers access to all basic headset settings (and possibly some non-gaming features) without having to install a second app.
It seems to me, that, even though I have a fast computer, running four apps instead of one all-inclusive app, is not good. Besides being a drain on the computer, it is confusing and tedious to have to switch apps for each device.
If Option+ is going to be the premier software, it should work with all Logitech devices, especially my Touchpad and Craft keyboard. (Yes, the Touchpad is old, but it is still practical to use it today.)
Logitech released Options+ over 2 years ago, please get long overdue updates released soon!
