C920 Pro HD Cam flickering

    Hello CK,

    There are a few reasons why you may be experiencing flicker in your video. Please refer to the recommended computer specifications from this link: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-001/articles/360042073534

    Video flicker may also be linked to your USB 3.1 controller. Make sure you have the latest driver available through Windows update.

    Also, check your anti-flicker setting in Logitech Capture and select the anti-flicker rate based on the electrical frequency in your location.

    920 pro webcam loss of focus (blured) when I  move away, also angle of focus changes without notice. Usb directly connected to computer.

    Hi Alan, thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about the experience with C920. Please take a moment to follow the troubleshooting steps below to try to solve the issue:

    1. Make sure webcam is set as default not just in the Logitech
    Capture but also on the application that uses the webcam such as Skype, Facetime, and etc.
    2. Re-seat to another USB port. Bypass the use of KVM switch boxes, port replicators, docking stations, and USB hubs if any
    Prefer using USB 2.0 rather than USB 3.0 ports.
    3. Try another application so that we can check if it is only happening on a certain app or not.
    If that did not work,
    4. Uninstall the Logitech Webcam software and install the
    Logitech Capture https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024849133--Downloads-HD-Pro-Webcam-C920
    5. Try a different computer so that we can check if it is only happening on a different computer or not.

    Changing to PAL 50Hz helps BUT

    On Mac OS every time the computer gets restarted the Logitech WebCam control program changes the anti flicker setting back to NTSC 60Hz.   So any time you restart the computer need to go back and change to PAL 50Hz again.

    This is very annoying as it should keep and register the change.

    Using the latest Camera Settings version 3.0.23

    We suggest you to please uninstall LCS / Camera settings application and install Logitech Capture application from the link below, as Anti flicker settings is available on Capture.
