Circle View Doorbell Night Vision light overheats doorbell
Circle View Doorbell Night Vision light overheats the doorbell, forcing it offline for about 10 minutes. The light was very hot to the touch, almost burning. It's only late Spring, around 84º F. I welcome any useful feedback from tech support.
But mostly I hope that Logitech engineering is hearing the feedback that their doorbell is not designed to work outdoors and can fix it in future versions.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for choosing Logitech Circle Doorbell.
I'm sorry to hear you are having a problem with your doorbell. Can you try disabling the night vision for one night and let me know if the doorbell still overheats?

I've confirmed that the night vision light was exacerbating the overheating problem at night. With the light on, it overheats on hot evenings / nights repeatedly. With the light manually turned off, it doesn't overheat at night.
So, I have to leave the light off.
I wish there was at least an option to turn the light on when motion is detected.
