my c270 camera stopped working, but microphone is okay
Answeredi followed the instructions listed in similar posts, but it made no difference. i've already reinstalled the drivers and resetted the settings, nothing worked. it's interesting how microphone works perfectly fine. what should i do?

If your camera isn't detected by your computer, please try the following:

Try a different USB port on your computer.

Make sure the camera isn't connected to a USB hub or docking station.

Make sure you're using the correct driver for your camera by selecting the Downloads tab on your product's support page.

If your camera is connected to a USB 3.0 port (usually has a blue plastic insert), try using a USB 2.0 port instead.
-
Try connecting the camera to a different computer.
NOTE: If your camera isn't detected by a second computer, it may be defective.

Same issue here have tried everything mentioned. if i take the cam and plug into a older computer running older software it works fin so its not in the cam. when try to upgrade drivers, i get a error saying it didn't upgrade correctly on video driver. its only doing the audio part of the drivers

Already done all of what your saying to do before I even came here to ask. If I go to update the drivers it give me a error stating the video part of the drivers didn't update. but yet the mic part did. I have uninstalled software and all drivers. downloaded the software from Logitect website and reinstalled everything. and still same issue the driver for the video is not installing correctly leaving that driver corrupt. Ill recreate the error i got and post it here

For those that haven't gotten their cam back working here is the fix.
Create a new user account on computer. Sign into that account. If the Logitect Software is showing, Remove the program. Then download the newest software from this site and install it. Load software and cam should be back working. Logged off of said new account and log back into your normal account and cam should now also be back working on this account. The newly created account can then be deleted.
Doing the above got my Logitect HD C270 back working
