Circle View Doorbell Often Has "No Response"

    Hello, 

    Thank you for choosing Circle Doorbell.

    Can you tell me what color/flashing the doorbell and Chime Kit Status LED is, when it is offline?

    Here are some things you can do to help stabilize the doorbell:

    • Make sure the doorbell is not in direct sunlight
    • Make sure Home hubs are up to date with iOS 14.5 
    • Restart your Home Hub(s)
    • Restart your WIFI router
    • Assign the doorbell to 2.4ghz network and set a static IP address
    • Factory Reset the Doorbell

    Yes Joseph,
    It will work on both bandwidths.
    But if you are having connectivity issue we suggest connecting to the 2.4ghz network as 5ghz signal can degrade when they travel through walls and are more susceptible signal interruptions outside you home depending on the distance from the router, the type of material the home is made out of and other electronics in the home.

    What are the error color codes for this device? It would be nice to try and self diagnose before opening a ticket. Thank you.
