Logitech Alert Camera Dead; Only 2 Red Lights on in Front
Hello,
I own 3 logitech alert cameras (all the outdoor ones) and love them. My first one has "died" after 3 years. I have unplug and replug the power supply and also done pressed the reset button. I have also unplugged and re-plugged the ethernet cord. The LED light on the bottom does not come on and only the 2 red LED lights on the front are on. The app says "camera offline". What can I do to fix this? Is there any hope? Is there a repair facility?
I know that the cameras are discontinued and do not want to buy them used off of ebay for more than they sold new originally. I can not find a good alternative camera system that is as good as the alert system. I have a Logi Circle to keep an eye on the dog, but I need outdoor specific ones for the security part. Are there any plans for logitech to make a new and improved alert system off of the circle (with SD card) and detachable wiring to run the cables through walls? I am not a fan of the nest cam and them charging so much for cloud service. If logitech has plans for a new replacement system, I can wait for that instead.

Hello @Mona Christiansen - Welcome to the community! Logitech can't comment on future product releases. The LED on the bottom should at first be green indicating a successful power up. If you don't have even this one, I wouldn't get my hopes up. There is not a one Logitech repair facility. Since warranty for this camera is 2 years and you have been using it 3 years you could ask any repair service of your trust. Maybe they can do something. You might want to open a support request on: http://support.logitech.com/ - you could upload the logfiles there - maybe they give a hint to where the problem lies. Warm regards, LogiLukas
