    Do you have usb 2 on your computer? I think it's a bug, it happend my often on USB 3, on USB 2 is ok...But they sould fix this bug...

    Hello SeanMcNulty4588, Sorry for the inconvenience faced. I would request you to try the following steps and check if that helps. 1.Log in to MyHarmony Desktop Software. 2.Select your Harmony Remote from gallery. 3.Click Settings from the left-side panel. 4.Click Remote Assistant > Off > OK. 5.Connect your Remote via USB and click Sync. If the above steps didn’t help, I would request you to Sync the remote from the Safe Mode. See if that helps! Please follow the steps given below for placing remote in Safe Mode & to Sync. 1.Remove a battery from Remote. 2.Press and hold the ALL OFF button. 3.Re-insert the battery without releasing the button. 4.Release the ALL OFF button once the Harmony has entered into Safe Mode. 5.Now connect it to your computer via USB. 6.Log in to MyHarmony Desktop Software. 7.Select the Remote from gallery and click Sync.     Hello I have the same issue but I do not know how to disable the "Remote Assistant". There is no such option in my version (1.0.1.257) please advice thank you

    Just for information, this worked for me https://port1352.wordpress.com/2016/02/25/logitech-harmony-remote-sync-hangs-at-99/ "I recently encountered an issue where my Logitech Harmony 650 Remote sync hung at 99%. I found a few other users mention the same issue in the support forum and found that I was able to get past the issue by continually pressing the center button beginning at around 95%. Although the remote goes into safe mode, the sync process successfully completes at 100%. I then close the sync as normal and remove the batteries from the remote to get back out of safe mode."

    My remote hangs at 24%. I get the error message that hey are having communication problems and I should reconnect the remote. If I reconnect it hangs again either already at inizialization or at 24%. 

    Whatever I do, it never goes past 24%. Even in safe mode the software hangs either at initializatiion or at 24%.

    Hello Marco1216,

     

    Sorry for the inconvenience faced.  I would request you to delete the device & re-add the recently added devices/Activities, try to Sync the remote and check if that helps.

     

    If the issue persists, would recommend you to create a new Harmony account and add the device one by one (like add one device, Sync the remote, another one Sync the remote like that), Sync the remote to check if that helps!

    I have a Harmony touch that does this exact thing. I have tried everything and it will not sync.

    I had to connect it to a different USB port on the PC and then it worked.
