Circle 2 - Circle Safe Plans for Multiple Cameras?
Answered-
Hello @Shane Nolan? ! Welcome to the community !
I will be more than happy to answer your questions regarding Circle Safe subscription for Circle 2.
We have two subscription plans at the moment, Circle Safe Premium and Circle Safe Basic:
We rolled out Circle Safe Basic in order to provide a more affordable Circle Safe option. That said, we understand the need for a flexible pricing scheme and are looking into implementing a multi-camera subscription discount. Also, we continue to improve our offering for Circle Free (the free plan), so I hope that helps.
If you have further questions, please let me know.

Hello good folks at Logi, KorTiger is bringing up a really good point. I'm hoping to replace many ALERT cams with the new circle 2 and I need the person detection and motion zones. But right now under this subscription pricing plan, it is WAY WAY out of financial reach. Please consider a SUBSTANTIAL discount for multiple cameras. Preferably just like the ALERT plan of $100/year for up to 16 cams would be great.
Thanks,

Update - I purchased four Circle 2 cameras and have replaced my older Logitech Alert 750e cameras (that were still working fairly well). I like the product and features but please add the Person Detection and Motion Zones to both Circle Safe plans... I don't need 30 days of storage but I do need intelligent alerts. Thanks.

Ring just release a direct competitor to Circle 2 with Spotlight Cam. It's an outdoor camera with 1080p resolution and a built in siren. Subscription for each camera is $3/month. For $10/month or $100/year you can support unlimited number of cameras and also receive a 10% discount on future purchases. I hope Circle 2 updates their plan structure because at $3/month with Ring you pretty much get a similar feature set. -
I purchased a Circle 2 yesterday and would like to add more cameras. The set up has been challenging as I have not been successful with it yet. I am considering returning it for a different device with a cheaper subscription and has been consumer tested. I like the fact the camera can be adjusted but $100 per year per camera is hefty. The BestBuy staffer talked me into the camera. When I asked about subscription prices he said they were free up to 7 days storage. I jumped because of the camera view wide angle and the window attachment feature ( I was thinking about this for a future application). Waiting to speak to a live support person today. -
To FireEngines... I did go ahead and replaced my older 750e with the Circle 2 cameras and it is working okay without the plan. I can scroll back a day or more and see what has been happening. I receive activity alerts, the two way audio comes in handy sometimes and the Apple HomeKit capability has potential (once the bugs are worked out). If the Ring Flood Light Camera supported Apple HomeKit, I would add one of those to the mix as well.
I have one of my four cameras activated with HomeKit. I can see it in the HomeKit screen but the motion detection is not working properly to trigger a lamp nearby.
Hope that helps.

Marion, thank you for the above information. We have two camera, intend to purchase two more. Am going to wait for multi camera discount before purchasing any subscription plan. Logitech seems so reasonable in everything but this. Please pass this along to your executives. Suspect I am not alone in this approach. Mike. -
I looked at the pricing before buying the wired Circle 2 cameras and thought that $100 a year seemed normal compared to others.I didn't realize it was per camera and not per account. My mistake, I will be taking down all 4 cameras this weekend to return them to the store.
@Marion Loquais? You replied in July about multi camera plans or discounts, that was a long time ago now. Is it safe to assume I should return the cameras as nothing is coming? I need to know in the next 10 days so I can still return the 4 units I purchased.

@Aron Rosenberg? Thank you for taking the time to reply. Can you post the prices now? I have no problem waiting to sign up. Will they be announced in the next 10 days? Very very soon means very different things to different people.
I love the cameras but I really want the zone alerts and 7 days of history. I have plans to add more cameras and the price per camera is way too high compared to the rest of the market. I hope to hear something concrete by Jan 13th or I will have no choice but to return them and go with another brand.

I can't post prices or plan details yet, but we hope to have it announced and launched soon. The timing isn't a promise since we are still testing all of the changes and last minute issues might come up. In the meantime, send an email to innercircle@logitech.com, mention this thread and my name and we can help you in the meantime.

We are still implementing the changes and it shouldn't be too much longer. If you have already subscribed at least one camera to a subscription plan, please fill out the form link below and I will grant the same service on your other cameras until we get the multi-camera subscriptions launched. At that point you can upgrade to the multi-camera plan yourself: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf1_PfocsDrd_k1TmHTXXNgF4vvl8lrJZJxgg0GdDyHuKhPsA/viewform

Hi everybody,
In response to consumer demand, we’ve created a new Circle Safe Home subscription offering, so all of your cameras can benefit from key features like additional stored history, Person Detection, Motion Zones, and more. Building off our existing subscriptions, the new Circle Safe Home options provide a discount when you want to add more than one camera to your subscription plan—perfect for those who have two or more cameras! The Circle Safe Home subscriptions will be available for purchase soon.
- For single camera homes pricing stays the same, Circle Safe Basic subscriptions are $3.99/month and Circle Safe Premium are $9.99/month or $99.99/year.
- For up to 5 cameras, Circle Safe Basic Home starts at $6.99/month or $69/year and Circle Safe Premium Home starts at $17.99/month or $179/year. If you own 5 cameras, that’s just $1.15/month per camera if you choose the Basic plan and $2.98/month per camera when you choose Premium. Prices are the same in Euro's. For GBP, Basic Home is £5.99/month or £59/year, while Premium Home is £13.99/month or £139/year.

I think it’s pretty bad that you can’t get the face detection and motion zones in the lower priced package. As you obviously know that’s what people want, so you tie it to the higher package even though there is no added cost to you unlike storage cost. Storage should be the difference in price and not holding features for a higher price. -
@Jody Schering? Person Detection and Motion Zones are currently in the Premium plan because they are implemented in our cloud servers. Neither of those features are able to be currently performed by the camera itself. We structure the plan costs to you, the user, based on the actual costs to us.

Hello, I can’t see a Home plan even though I have 3 cameras on my account. How do I sign up for the multi-camera plan for a year? I only see the below. Circle Safe Premium yearly subscription $99.99 (Save 20%) Circle Safe Premium monthly subscription $9.99 Circle Safe Basic monthly subscription $3.99 Circle Free - 24 Hours of Footage
