Circle 2 wired also usable as unwired with connected battery?

Hi there,

Is it possible with the Circle 2 Wired edition to use it in combination with a purchased 'extra battery'?

So when I buy both Circle 2 wired edition and extra battery will it work both wired and unwired?

  The camera module inside the white housing is the same between versions. The wire free version comes with a larger white front housing ring that matches the larger diameter of the battery. Since the battery and the wired mounts attach to the back of the camera body (not the surrounding white front ring) you can attach a battery to a wired camera, but the front white wired camera housing will be smaller than the battery and thus not match up and look funny. I have swapped around my camera modules between wired and wire free housings no problem. They just snap on.
