It sounds like you want the "Smart Location" feature, which will automatically turn on/off Alerts based on your location. You can find this under the Menu -> Smart Alerts -> Event Alerts -> Smart Location.

Once enabled, you select your home location for a given phone and it will automatically enable / disable alerts for that device when you leave/enter that location.

Thanks for your suggestion. There are two reasons why this doesn't work:

    1) I enabled the Smart Location feature. But for some reason on my iPhone X it never works. I still get notifications all night while I am home. Doesn't seem to notice that I am home.

    2) The other reason I would like this is that my wife comes home earlier than I do. For two hours I get notifications that someone is walking around, but I know its my wife. Would be great to just not have it notify me for those hours.

The issue with your iPhone X sounds like an app bug. To help diagnose it can you enable Smart Location, then "come home". After "coming home", if you still get a notification, can you generate a client diagnostics from the Circle iOS app. This is done via the Help menu. After submitting the diagnostics, can you send an email to innercircle@logitech.com from your account email address and put "iPhone X Smart Location Issue" in the subject line. My team will get the details for your account from that (you may get a generic response from the support too, but ignore that).

    For (2) - Stay tuned.

The team has spent time looking at this over the last few days and discovered a bug with Push Notifications and the most recent iOS version. We will have an updated app available as soon as Apple approves the new version (usually a few days to a week).

Right now, the only workaround is too uninstall and reinstall the app if push notifications stop coming to your device.

We also spent some time stress testing Smart Location changes based on your report. We found one case where the transition can fail, and that is if your phone has bad/poor/no connectivity at the moment that iOS tells our app we have passed through the Geo-Frence. We are working on ways to make this transition server call fully fault tolerant and automatically retry, and aim to get this in the next app update.

Once again, thank you for the report.
