    • This is a serious issue and the lack of response from Logitech is really unfortunate. It appears to show that they aren't concerned. I agree, what good is a recording of a security camera without the actual time and date of events on the recording? Maybe they are holding out for another fee paid "premium" service. Terrible customer relations!!

Of the few posts I made here, I Never get any reply from moderators. For this issue, I emailed support directly and got a reply: “My name is Gina, Thank you very much for your suggestion. We take suggestions from our customers seriously and our developers and engineers take them into consideration when doing updates. I will pass this on to the correct department so they can take a look at it. For future reference your case reference number is 05878198. This will allow us to quickly find the contact history when you need additional help. If we do not receive a reply, your support request will eventually be closed and set to "solved". A survey will be sent to you to gather your feedback. To contact us by phone or obtain additional information (FAQ's, Forum, Manuals, etc.) please visit support.logitech.com Best regards, Gina Logitech Customer Care support.logitech.com” So, it is still a serious issue. There is no promise of what or when they will resolve this. I still like C2 and will keep it despite of this shortcoming , hopefully they will come through with a solution.

Thanks for the reply. My overall thought is that the Circle 2 product was released in a beta version. There are just too many issues that were not thought out as is shown by all of the postings on this site and the many firmware update since release. I think the marketing people were under too much pressure to get the product out due to the increasing competition for this type of product and the shortcomings of some of the existing similar products available. Their subscription plans are outrageous!!

I should clarify that the time and date issue seems to be a problem with Daily Brief files downloaded to a computer using a web browser.

That right, if I play a bubble, the time progression is there, but it disappears after I downloaded it. If I take a photo, there is no time as well. Yes many new products are release recently, but C2 seems to fit my need. I like the 1 day free recording. 180 degree view, windows attachment (although I do not use it). I just have to download it, thus avoiding paying a fee. Also it Has a good looking form factor.

It looks like the time stamp has been removed completely from the web interface now. 😣

    Hi Folks,

I think this is a great feature request and I will add it to our backlog. I can't promise a release date as we need to do some experimentation to figure out the best way to deliver this to all possible mp4 players.

    Best regards,
