Offline, blinking yellow led

I've "fixed" this by holding down the reset button on the camera, this then allowed it to be found (I didn't have to complete the setup so it can't have been a full reset?).

On closer inspection of the LED colour it was slowly flashing yellow before a reset.

I then noticed that the bottom section of the picture was a bit pixelated, dropping the resolution down from 1080p to 720p seems to have fixed this, presumably the problem is even though it has a wifi connection (only 1 bar on the 3 bar scale) it isn't good enough to stream 1080p? The camera is only about 5m from the wifi router (through one floor and window) so not miles away, is this expected performance?

    Thanks!

Any thoughts on this? It has just happened again, about the same time at night (23:00), but holding down the reset button isn't fixing it (or seemingly reseting it), it flashes magenta and then green, then goes back to a slow white/yellow pulse.

Thinking about it, it probably happens when it switches into night mode as it happens after switching off the outside lights.

So now I don't have a working camera... only had it a week...

OK - I think I've solved this, I was using a USB extension cable to get the camera in a better place, this appears to only be a problem in night mode, I assume the camera tries to pull more power to use the infrared LEDs? I tried changing the power brick to a more powerful one but same results.

Is there any advice on using USB extension cables? Or is the advice you can't? I'm back successfully using one about 2m, the one that wasn't working was 5m.

    Thanks

I'm glad you figured out what was going on. Adding that USB extension caused the voltage to drop below the system minimum. DC voltage drops quickly the longer the cable is used.

If you need more cable length, we make an AC extension cable that fits right into your adapter (its also weatherproof for outdoor use, but you don't have to use that part if you are indoors). You can find it here: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/circle-2-weatherproof-extension?crid=1720 or https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Weatherproof-Extension-accessory-Security/dp/B0711V3MG3

    Hello,

i bought this camera on friday set it up no problem and it was working great. Later on during the first evening i got a warning that it was offline. The next morning, Saturday i was able to come back to the camera and it was the same as mentioned above- slow yellow flashing led , although wifi and power were all operational. I've tried reseting and that didn't work- unplugging and plugging back in and also deleting camera in the app and attempting to reload it and setting up again but now it is undiscoverable by my smart phone (iPhone x)

We are not using an extension lead, just the one supplied at purchase.

Do i need to take this back or does someone have a suggestion to get this one back up and running?
