Night vision issues

I have also just looked at the last recorded file on the circle history and it was 6:37pm. It is now 7:20am. Nothing is getting saved when people are going by when night vision is active. I know for sure people would have walked by in that time. Like last night when they knocked at my door.

If it’s inside the window and you have window mount enabled in the settings, the night vision infra red is disabled so it doesn’t reflect off the glass. You might need to mount the camera outside and disable window mode.

True, but it does not pick anyone up when walking past, well very little action. Looking at the picture at night it looks ok, as in it should still record movement. I do have it on the window setting and it does record things now and again. It definitely should have picked up someone knocking on my door. I have a Samsung camera sat in a window on the rear of the house with the infra red turned off and WDR switched on, the quality is good, the light it picks up from the street lights is great. I can make things out pretty well.

Where is the door relative to the center of image (can you post a picture here)? The Computer Vision filtering tends to weight things in the center as more interesting. I'll ask our CV team if that weighting in NV is not being set correctly.

Hi, here are a few pictures from the location of my camera.

Based on your pictures, I think somebody approaching your door from the side with the other door would get missed due to the viewing angle. It looks like the thickness of your door/window frame are enough to cut out a fair bit of visible space. Try moving the camera to the other end of that window and see if that lets you get more horizontal viewing angle and better coverage of your front door.
