That will be fixed in the next firmware release after this upcoming one.

I just noticed the same thing. So...I take it that "off" really means "stop streaming to Logitech" (and Homekit, once it's fixed)? When I get a chance I'm going to do some network captures to verify.

To me "off" means disabling power to the camera and microphone modules entirely--and I'd bet that I'm with a majority in this interpretation.

I'd really like to see some clarification on this point in the app (e.g., in connection with the on/off toggle). Otherwise, I think the toggle is incredibly misleading (if not downright false).

At the very least, this should be clarified in the FAQ's. You currently have a FAQ ("What is privacy mode and how is it different than turning Circle off?") that says "When you turn your camera off, it does not stream or record." Again, I find this statement incredibly misleading (and false). To me "does not ... record" means the camera is not capturing any imagery (and the microphone is not capturing any audio).

    Very disappointed.

The fix hasn't been released yet as all HomeKit changes have to be re-certified with Apple. It is coming soon.

What's the latest? Still going on. This is concerning.

Turning off the camera from the Circle app properly disables the feed for Homekit for me.
