I'm having the same problems with the Circle 2 wireless. Worked fine, updated to the new firmware (5.6.28). Now I need to powercycle at least once a day to get the camera working again. I'm going to try a factory reset.

"I'm going to try a factory reset."

Don't bother. I've already tried that. The camera sets up normally at first, but the first time I try to switch to live view after the initial setup and letting the camera go to its low energy state doesn't work. The problem is the same. It chugs away trying to switch to live view and then goes offline.

Same issue with wired Circle 2s, 10 feet from the router that works fine with several other devices. The circle goes offline and NEVER recovers. This is clearly an issue with Circle 2 camera as many other devices are on the same connection/router with no issue. I use Eero WiFi and have no other issues, just with my Circle 2s.

I asked to downgrade to 5.2.191 (for the horrendous nighttime image performance issues), but had the same issue with the new firmware as I do with 5.2.191, camera goes offline indefinitely. I could understand going offline for a few minutes if the connection is interrupted, but NEVER recovering and reconnecting is a serious FW flaw. This is completely unacceptable and makes these cameras worthless for any type of security (which by the way is the way Logitech markets them), unless you never leave your house and are always there to power cycle them.

Hey Logitech, are you listening? How about you add a feature to the software/firmware, when the camera is offline (disconnected from WiFi) for more that 60-90 seconds, they automatically power cycle themselves? It is not like they are recording anything when they are offline anyway.

Do you know how mad it makes me to be staring at a offline camera in the app for 6 days while I am on a business trip. I what to throw this camera in somebody's face and get all my money back, even though I have only been using them for a few weeks.

I appreciate the response to downgrade the firmware, but connectivity issues still remain in all FW versions I have used. Many are complaining and little is being said and/or publicly communicated by Logitech. This is a clearly a failure for many camera owners and Logitech is actively ignoring it, which at some point becomes negligent and potentially litigious.

i have the same problem. I recently purchased two Circle 2 wire free cameras. they both have firmware 5.6.28. For time to time either of them goes offline. The only way to get them back online is to disconnect the battery and then connect it again. Very frustrating !!! PLEASE HELP !!!!!

For this kind of price you should expect better quality but not with the Circle 2. First camera did not reset, Logitech exchanged it. Second Circle 2 I bought has a wifi issue. Very slow speeds and Live Stream is not loading or lagging. From what I read here I would say stay away from the Circle 2 and go with a different brand.

Aron from Logitech contacted me soon after my posts above. He upgraded the cameras to firmware 5.6.41 and the problem is now solved. Thank you for the fast response and good service !

@Aron Rosenberg? I'm sure you're getting a ton of these requests but my Circle 2 is completely useless with 5.6.28. Can you push an update to 44:73:D6:0A:4B:93? Either that or just release the firmware. Seriously. It can't get much worse.
