Thanks for the references guys! I noticed that many others have the same issues. Personally, I don't want a fix but just way to downgrade as I am somewhat concerned image quality is sacrificed to save cloud-storage. I feel somewhat **** that I just upgraded without further investigation.

Yes, 07661328 is the case number. I am not near my cameras, on business travel and two cameras are offline. Can I reply back on Friday night when I am home and got them back online?

Sonntag, Dezember 2, 2018 1:19 PM Downgrade Circle 2 firmware to 5.2.191Hi Guys,   I just received the firmware update 5.6.28 for my Logitech Circle 2. I  was perfectly happy with version 5.2.191. The 5.6 version has degraded the image quality significantly, both during the day and night vision. In fact, the night vision is now so bad I consider it completely unusable as a security camera.   I am not looking for a fixed firmware, instead can you please provide guidance how to downgrade the firmware back to version 5.2.191.   Thanks!         4 ältere Antworten         Logi_Aron (Logitech) @Graham2776? Did you submit a case yet? @Aron Rosenberg? can you please rollback the upgrade on my camera too? After the upgrade the battery is draining, empty within 3 days.

Hi @Aron Rosenberg?  may I email my mac to you? I don't think it is a good idea (security wise) to send that over in the clear.

    Kind regards, Laszlo

Just to give you an impression: lower image is 5.2 upper image is 5.6. Not sure why the pictures are of a different size, both have been made with an iPad.

@Laszlo Spoor? There is no issue with posting the MAC address here as it is not a security risk.

@Aron Rosenberg? I would also like a downgrade of my Circle, see https://community.logitech.com/s/question/0D55A00008Ask3pSAB/horrible-battery-life-after-5628

The mac of my camera is <redacted>

Please roll back my Circle2's firmware as well.

From 2 months+ battery to 4 days is really annoying

The MAC address of my camera is 4473D609EE24

@Benno van den Berg? You are done.

@David Verstegen? You need to charge your camera or plug it in, before it can downgrade.

sorry for my silly question, how to find out the cameras’ MAC addresses? Cameras have been “offline” for hours. @Aron Rosenberg?

The MAC address can be found in the App's under the Help -> Product Details -> Camera Details.

They are also etched onto the cameras themselves if you take the white cover off.
