I have five Circle 2 cameras, three wired ones indoors and two wireless ones outdoors (one near the front door and one near the back door). Yesterday, I installed Firmware v.5.6.28 on all of them. The installation went flawlessly on the wired devices, and I'm actually happy with the improvement in picture quality. Unfortunately, the results for the two outdoor wireless cameras were close to disastrous.
After the upgrade, I immediately noticed that the cameras would fail to wake from their low energy state. The progress circle would chug away for a minute or two, and then I'd get a "camera offline" error message. Attempts to turn one of the wireless cameras on or off would result in a similar occurrence. The circle indicating progress would continue to circle for a minute or two, and then the camera would return a "camera offline" error message. After both occurrences, a few minutes later the camera show up as online again. The weird thing is that the motion sensors still appear to work some of the time. If I walk out onto the front porch or the back porch into the view of one of the cameras, it triggers an alert and record brief video, as before (although way more slowly than before the upgrade).
Basically, although it's been fine for my indoor wired Circle 2's, this firmware update has rendered my outdoor Circle 2's into useless pieces of junk. Is there a fix or, failing that, a way to downgrade? I am most definitely NOT happy right now.
