Glad to see I'm not alone in this. Night vision is now useless. It's beyond me how something like this gets by QC? This is poor product management and needs to be corrected immediately!

Has anyone been successfully rolled back to 5.2.191?

I sent a request to support asking for rollback to 5.2.191 and it was not granted (case # 07661328). Basically, I just got a form letter telling me to wait for the next firmware improvement, which is not acceptable. This things are about to get pulled of the wall and returned for refund by any means necessary. 2 of 3 are consistently offline and all 3 are garbage at night and I cannot see anything. They are totally useless right now.

I sent a request in-app yesterday and haven't received a reply yet. Agree with you the problem is bad enough that I considered giving up completely on Circle 2 but due to the response yesterday from Logitech here, I'm willing to wait a bit.

Logitech, I hope you understand the anger and frustration here is a result of the fact that the image quality (low light) went from "really good" to unquestionably unusable. I feel like i've said this before but I have half a dozen different brands of cameras ranging from $20 Wyze to Arlo Pro, Nest and Amcrest 2k and I was about to consolidate them all (including my Nest and Arlo subscriptions to Circle Safe). With the latest firmware, the low light image quality is worse than my $20 cameras.

I realize that there have only been probably half a dozen or a dozen vocal people (myself included) but it's clear this issue is real and consistent.

We are working through the downgrade requests. We are doing to this very carefully since some folks had reset the camera _after_ the 5.6.28 upgrade. If this was done on a camera, it will not come online after we remotely downgrade the firmware to 5.2.191 since the WiFi credential storage was changed. You will then have to manually initiate a reset process and re-setup. Since these are security cameras we are coordinating with each customer about the best time to do this so they aren't offline unexpectedly.

@Logi_Aron ?Is there a way to confirm that I am on the list for the downgraded firmware? I have a support case open regarding the poor quality of the cameras but haven't gotten an updated response in two days.

My original case is 07638267, I got a reply on 11/29 after I sent in image samples that my case was escalated. Am I in the queue?

    Thanks

Sure I have access to three now and the 4th I can get access to tomorrow if it needs to be manually reset. Thank you!

Awesome I can see them getting reset. I'm sure I will have to manually re-pair them (since I hard reset them to troubleshoot), how long should I wait until I re-add them--or what should I look for in the blinking LED pattern?

    Thanks

@MIKE PAK?, What are the LEDS doing right now, on the cameras that didn't come back?

On the camera that didn't come back, the front LED is slowly blinking blue (once every 2 seconds). One camera has already come back and I'm SO HAPPY to report that night time image quality has been restored. It's 8:30 PM where I am so it's completely dark and the camera that faces a street with one street light shows much more detail than right before the update and colors are rich...it looks GREAT!

Just waiting to hear on when I need to re-add the others. Of my 4 cameras, I hard-reset three and those haven't come back up (like you said they would not).

    Thank you

If the front LED is slow blinking blue, you can safely do a reset using the button and setup again. Follow the "change WiFi" menu item in the app.

Got it back up, thank you again for being responsive to customers. Maybe it's just the excitement but the image quality is simply stunning (like it was before)!

@Aron Rosenberg? Please add me to the list ASAP!

My two cameras have not been reset after the update.

My support case 07638155 got an answer: "There is no possibility to downgrade the firmware." This is obviously not the case (anymore).

    Thank you!

@Holger Vaga? Your case number is in the list, but the email address didn't match to a Circle account. Can you post the MAC address of your camera?

@Aron Rosenberg? Thank you for the quick reply!

Yes, somehow I registered in forum with different address.

    The cameras are under holger14@gmail.com.

    Is that enough info?

Great work, all back to how it was, thanks for the reversion from 18:50 yesterday. A self help option to revert to at least one previous firmware version would be beneficial in the GUI. Kind regards Craig

For info: One of my cameras downgraded and restarted ok. The other had a Blue flashing ring and stayed offline (even after a reset), I could only resolve this by adding a new camera in the app and calling it the same name... restarted and found it immediately. Regards Craig

@Graham2776 Both mine are now downgraded, I too received the ‘default’ reply. See my lTest comment if you have issues with the flashing blue ring after the downgrade. Regards Craig

@Sultan Tahir? You are done, but your Stair camera needs to be manually setup again.

@Carl Trueman? Your details didn't make it to me yet. Can you post the MAC address of one of your cameras so I can lookup your account
