so bro after a ton of messing around i eventually uninstalled all logitech gaming software and ghub, including deleting the C drive program files folders for the logitech stuff, and then of course rebooted pc and then installed ONLY logitech gaming software and this time when i clicked on the headset instead of the mouse or webcam it actully allowed me to do the fully customization stuff in that software, rather then forcing a popup saying you must use ghub and taking me the ghub up that would never load up, i currently have a case open about the issue still with logitech as to why ghub isnt workin on any pcs ive tried.

    I. Another solution is that the lghub_installer.exe is not working. So i manually started it up and got G hub to work, a slight pain in the *** but a solution nonetheless. The way you get to the lghub_installer.exe is by these steps:

    1. In the Windows search bar search up the Logitech G hub
    2. Right click and click on "Open File Location"
    3. It will open up to the the Start Menu Programs and another shortcut for G hub will be there, right click on that and click on "Open File Location"
    4. 3 Icons will be present with the G hub logo
    5. double click on lghub_updater and it should start up once you tab back into G hub.
    6. If not, double click lghub_agent too. and check again.

II. NizzleNate's issue came up when he chose him Logitech peripheral, mine straight up didn't start. Though this second solution also can be used.

    1. Uninstall LGS.
    2. Open search box(windows+R) and type %Appdata%.
    3. Delete the Logitech folder in AppData.
    4. Open Device Manager, go to "Keyboard" and/or "Mice and other pointing devices" and uninstall all Logitech devices you see there(right click, uninstall).
    5. Download latest (r/https://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/lgs) from the web.
    6. Disconnect the keyboard from PC and keep it disconnected
    7. Restart PC.
    8. Install latest LGS.
    9. Restart PC.
    10. Re-connect the keyboard.

III. When i connected my mouse it showed that i had the latest drivers, but it was not the Logitech drivers, so i had to manually update them for each device.

IV. Check the Logitech G hub website to see if your product is compatible to the app and isn't breaking the app due to it not supporting it. If you still have issues due to your mouse, but it is supported, contact LG support/ make a thread about it.

My G Hub is running, and from the preview pane on my taskbar I an see it's properly loaded my G502, but the program will not open on the desktop so I can actually use it and set my mouse keybinds, colour scheming etc etc etc. Marvelously frustrating. LGS worked flawlessly for me; reminding me of the old addage "If it aint broke then don't fix it."

after a huge amount of messing around I in the long run uninstalled all logitech gaming programming and ghub, including erasing the C drive program records envelopes for the logitech stuff, and after that obviously rebooted pc and after that introduced ONLY logitech gaming programming and this time when I tapped on the headset rather than the mouse or webcam it actully enabled me to do the completely customization stuff in that product, rather then compelling a popup saying you should utilize ghub and taking me the ghub up that could never stack up, I right now have a case open about the issue still with logitech concerning why ghub isnt workin on any pcs ive attempted.

For some reason I cannot get g hub to download whatsoever on this machine.

I thought maybe it was just a server issue or something so I downloaded the installer to my laptop and it downloads and installs immediately.

. I had it installed before on the my computer uninstalled it a while ago trying to get it back on and I just get stuck at the spinning g logo?

When I launch G hub it says Installing Updates so i Let it be. 4 hours later it still says that and when I go to unistall it wont unistall. I have also tried SLiZZyNA method but that doesn't fix it. Any Suggestions?

Let windows search for the new EXE after the update apparently failed on it's own and lost the EXE... Win10 actually found mine, then experienced the infinity loading screen.... but was able to uninstall the program using "windows add/remove programs."

I uninstalled everything including features (a window pops up asking if you'd like to remove it all). I then reinstalled and everything works and I still have all my macros

To fix my problem I had to close all the GHUB apps that were running in he background via task manager then deleted the LGUB folders in Program Files. My computer finally let me uninstall the program and I could redownload it and it works fine now.

G Hub is a disgrace... It’s been the 2nd time that this software has basically reset itself and deleted my profiles... Again I tried uninstalling the software and guess what? My windows 10 went into BSOD and now is gone!!!! I’m trying to recover part of my files and software with an old backup... and all because your software is appalling!! Shame on you! Your product is worthless.. I’m going back to my old mouse and I will never ever buy Logitech again... I will also tell everyone I know that your products are unreliable. Shame on you.

I have the same problem. Stuck on animation loading screen and it doesn't load, once I tried to reinstall it deletes all my profiles, I had to configure everything again and with another update still the same problem. Come on...

Same here. I think it comes from logitech, like a DDOS attack on their servers. So Ghub can't connect on it and loading.

But it can not be loading all the time or more than 10 seconds, btw it should show an error message or something. The application needs to be improved. I want to run my G-alt configuration by default when starting Windows but I have to put it manual every single time. Also there is no clear option to save or load profiles with your macros, dpi, etc... so wierd behaviour of a simple application to control a mouse or a keyboard.

same thing happened to me and it genuinely makes me angry. This is the third time I have had to uninstall and reinstall the Ghub and lose all of my settings and profiles. All because Logitech refuses to fix their crappy software.

Same problem. I got my new, grey Rhino, paid 260 Euro, and expected (yes, I am naive) included software on CD/pendrive. Nope. Had to look for drivers myself. The X56 HOTAS software works fine, but the only thing Ghub seems to be able to do is to display the loading screen. Shame. I am trying with lgs510, but it also seems to have problems (it says it is installed, but there are no icons, I cannot find it on HD to manually execute it). It seems the LGS doesn't run on Win10. Are there any alternative solutions?

Whoever made this software has no idea how to properly handle all the variations on a system and whoever tested this into approval deserves to be fired, I installed it and it just gets stuck on a black screen. I saw this happening some months ago and said, ok this is in beta probably so lets let it be. with the 2019 update the problem still persists, and they want to replace LGS with this **** forcefully? thanks for locking out my products with your useless ****...Annotation 2019-02-23 100734

    I have the same problem.

I think the g hub agent is the problem.

I started g hub in debug mode with Visual Studio.

The answer from Visual Studio is:

I cannot stand Ghub. I'm having this same issue even after reinstall. It feels like I have to troubleshoot every other month. The only reason I'm still using logitech is because the g502 has so many buttons and I use all of them.

A week ago I've sent the solution to Logitech. It's a problem with the updater. It requires admin privileges to write in the hard drive, as it hasn't, it stands on an infinite loop and the client doesn't connect with the server so you see the Logitech logo running all the time. They have sent the message to the engineers so they will update the software soon.

TEMPORARY SOLUTION: close all the L GUB processes in your task manager, go to the installation folder where LGHub is, run the updater first with admin, and then run the LGHub.exe with admin too. Voilà!

However my problem is different, it always stays in a black screen, no loading icon and the udpater fix does nothing, actually when I execute the updater it does nothing, so after a while I go and run the hub also as admin and still the black screen.

Try to disable logitech software autorun when windows startup with Ccleaner, then restart your computer without internet connection, then run the updater with admin priv and then run the ghub.exe. Once open connect to your wifi/ethernet. Try if it works for you.

Martin, thank you for all of your suggestions and assistance in trying to resolve this. Unfortunately, I'm still unable to get the LG Hub software to open up on this computer.

It seems like I have a similar issue as Victorh. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've tried older versions, I've disabled automatic startup and have ran the updater as admin as well as the lghub as admin, I've tried starting it up with and without internet access - all of these scenarios produce the same black screen each time. I've also tried running it in compatibility mode but still no success. Running the lghub application doesn't log any errors aside from a simple deprecation warning.

The LG Hub software works on my Windows 10 machine but not on my Windows 7 machine. The Logitech Gaming Software program works on the Windows 7 machine but it doesn't provide the key customization I want.

Additional info: upon starting the LG Hub software, my keyboard changes from the sequencing RGB mode to a solid light blue.

I would love to get this fixed, this is my third Logitech G910 keyboard and I really enjoy the software and key customization when it works. I could just write my own autohotkey scripts but I would prefer to leave it to the LG Hub software so I can easily share profiles across my devices.

I'll be following this thread and checking for a new release!

    @Victor Herrera? ,

Check your environment variables to see if you have NODE_ENV set to development. If so, delete the environment variable and rerun the application.

Doing some debugging and diving a little deeper into their electron app, I noticed there's a check for this variable. I commented out the check and re-ran the app and it opened!

@Rodney Barto?  wow....that fixed it... The problem is, that means I can't have that env variable set in there to do my usual dev/prod stuff on Node.... and now that I got in, the app doesn't do anything XD. I go into the settings of my c922 and when I click on "Settings" it just dims the App's screen and does nothing. I'm sorry but this is a terrible quality and it's not acceptable for a company with so much power in the market...

    @Victor Herrera? ,

I don't have a C922 but when I select my G910 product and then go to settings, all I get is the firmware information and a setting for disabling device startup effect. My key settings are set to a profile that I modify after selecting the G910 product.

Hopefully if you play around with the LG Hub software, you'll be able to find useful settings! I'm assuming it should look something like this image?

    I've solved.

    Please try this.

    1. Uninstall LGS.
    2. Open search box(windows+R) and type %Appdata%.
    3. Delete the Logitech folder in AppData. (I deleted Logishrd, Logitech, LGHub - all folders for Logitech).
    4. Open Device Manager, go to "Kyeboard" and uninstall all Logitech devices you see there(right click, uninstall).
    5. Download latest (r/https://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/lgs) from the web.
    6. Disconnect the keyboard from PC and keep it disconnected
    7. Restart PC.
    8. Install latest LGS.
    9. Restart PC.
    10. Re-connect the keyboard.
