Logitech circle does not post push messages to phone

    Hello @Peter Schneider - Welcome to the community!

     

    First of all, the phone number has nothing to do with it. Nevertheless use +49... Now when you switched on the smart location setting, you would not get any notification when you are in the vicinity of the camera. Could that be the case?

    If not, do the notifications work on another phone or tablet?

    High Lucas, when I am in the vicinity of the camera, means in my flat, do not get any notifications/alarms. That’s OK, fine. However, when I leave my home and someone other enters the flat during my absence the camera should post an Alarm message (SMS, Mail, or?) to my phone. But I am not receiving any… Checked with the seller, Gravis, the phone. They confirmed, everything is set up correctly, incl. smart location settings. Help! Greetings Peter [personal info removed]

    Hi Lucas, just tried to enter my Logitech account. While until yesterday working, now do net get access with my mail [personal info removed] and also not with the alternative one [personal info removed] . Another „Help!!!“ to you. By the way, can we also communicate in German or would english be better for you?

    Deutsch ist kein Problem, wenn Ihnen das lieber ist. Ich muss aber jetzt erstmal Ihre persönlichen Informationen entfernen. Aus eigenem Interesse sollten Sie diese hier nicht veröffentlichen. 

    Und ja - sobald Sie in ausreichender Entfernung zur Wohnung sind, sollte die Kamera sich melden (sofern Sie dies eingestellt haben - es gibt drei Einstellungen: Bei Bewegung, wenn die Batterie zur neige geht und wenn es Verbindungsprobleme gibt - am besten stellen Sie alle ein). Wenn das nicht funktioniert, würde ich es unbedingt mit einem anderen Mobilgerät überprüfen. 

    Versuchen Sie auch über die web-app Zugang zu erhalten: https://circle.logi.com/ - wenn das auch nicht klappt, sollten Sie ein Support Ticket aufmachen: support.logitech.com - Lassen Sie uns wissen, was Sie herausfinden!

Bez. Batterie und Verbindungsprobleme erhielt ich auch schon mal Mails. Aber eben nicht wenn Jemand in der Wohnung ist und ich nicht da bin! Kameraeinstellungen sehen bei mir so aus: oder Hatte mich vorher im Netz schlaugemacht und diese Kamera gekauft weil sie in 60 Sekunden betriebsbereit sein sollte.     Here is the resolution - delete and reinstall the app from your device. Use the pin hole reset button on top of the base on your Logi Circles. Press the reset until it beeps once, continue to press down until it beeps twice, then release. The circle will reset and will turn on. Make sure Bluetooth is in the on position on your device and the freshly downloaded app will seek to automatically connect the Logi Circle. Once connected to the app, go to the camera settings and adjust the notifications as desired. Repeat this process for each camera. FYI-It was suggested to turn off the battery save mode as part of the notification set-up, and I did, but have not confirmed if it is really necessary or not.

     

    My alert notifications stopped working as soon as I switched to an iPhone 7. Having the alerts was the main reason that I chose to purchase the Logi Circle's. I was so bummed when it stopped working. I have been actively trying to resolve this since ios10 release. Not even the Apple community could resolve. The above was process the only one that worked to re-establish Logi Circle smart alerts on the ios.

    Hi Shelle,a first thnks for your support. Did everything as mentioned in your below mail. However can not progress as Lucas (community member has changed the access data for my account. As per that Circle camera can not connect to Cloud. LUCAS: You should have changed back the account access data to the originals before leaving. Please be so kind and do it immediately. Otherwise I can not proceed. Or do you have any othe solution in between? Kind rwgards, Peter

    Can not wait anymore. Have created a new account and installed the Circle again. Seems it works as I am now getting the following messages to my iPhone: That’s ok, correct? Thanks again and have a nice weekend. Peter

    Hello @Peter Schneider !

     

    I do not have access to the Circle account settings and credentials. I simply removed your personal info (email addresses etc.) from your post. Such information is not to be published in the forum. 

     

    If you couldn't access your account I assume that might have been the reason for your problem. Maybe there was a type-o in your email-address or something like that. 

     

    I'm glad it works now.
