    Hi Steve A.

The Java dependencies are included in the install package.  There is nothing separate to install.

    Thanks.

Works OK with my Harmony One+ but with very basic features. Glad to see this. To sync, I click on sync, then attache the remote, then click on the Sync Now.

You sell a Pro version of the Elite remote for installers and expect them to use a mobile app to program it?

You can't figure out how to write a 64-bit app for macOS?

But somehow you managed to get macOS running on an iPad. LOL. ;)

How do you re-arrange activities in Desktop for Mac?  When I enter a new activity it is at the bottom and I want to move activities up or down. The old software did this and seems like a needed basic feature. Will this be available in a future version?

Is the new OS 10.15 (64-bit) software intended to work with the Harmony 650 remote?

    Thanks

    Hi NormD and James Bell,

    @ NormD ,

Apologize for the trouble. We have already forward the feedback to our development team, I will get back to you once the feature is implemented.

    @James Bell,

Yes, it is available. However please make sure that you are using mac OS Catalina prior downloading. Our Software download website will analyze your OS version to provide the correct software.

    Thanks,

    Kay

Hi I have tried downloading the revised app from this forum but, as with some previous comments, my user ID and password are not recognised.

I have tried connecting my remote but again no success.

    Any suggestions?

    Regards, Robert

Ok... I'm so bloody confused. I have a Harmony One remote and was on the MyHarmony software. Why must I go back to the legacy software if was using MyHarmony before all this mess? Can I really not use the new Desktop software?

I did actually download the legacy software and install it. I had to seriously hunt around for the login cause I had no freaking clue what I used before migrating to MyHarmony. After installing it I had devices and configs from many many years ago and I couldn't figure out how to get my current setup over to it without starting over. So I just deleted the app, fired up a Windows 10 VM I use for testing, and used the MyHarmony app from there. This isn't ideal, but at least it works.

If anyone can help here I'd be grateful.

I'm completely stuck . . . purchased a 2nd Harmony Companion, as I really love the first one I already own. I notice that configuring via the MacOS app is no longer an option due to changes with macOS Catalina. Here's my issue: when I try to set up the Hub that came with the Companion remote, I am able to 1. connect it to my wifi, 2. login to my Harmony account, but after that, I keep getting asked to "Place my Harmony Remote in it's cradle to proceed with the setup process." Uhhhhhh . . . . . the Harmony Companion doesn't come with a cradle. I've already tried factory resetting the hub multiple times. Help!

Apple anounced 64bit in Summer 2017!!!

Now its Jan 2020 and the Logitech programmers are not able to give us a stable and working App wich supports 64 bit MacOS Catalina?

    @Logitech Admins:

WHEN do we get the 64 bit Harmony Software????

Please let us know when to expect Myharmony software on Catalina. The product is a good one but support makes me hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Harmony Desktop is available for the 64-bit-only Catalina.  It works with my Harmony One. However, the functionality is limited.  You can edit and create activities and devices, but you cannot arrange their order. For all the time Logitech had to address this issue this is a pitiful response. When my remote dies, I will not be buying another from Logitech.

How do I get MyHarmony desktop software working on MacOS 10.15.3?

I want what I used to have where I could setup a remote and edit things very easily. Now it just confusing. UGH!!!!

The iPad/iPhone is fine to use in a pinch but I cannot stand trying to use it for setting things up. Almost any small tiny change/edit you have to wait for it to sync which makes changing multiple things a pain in the ***.

My Harmony will not work with 10.15 Catalina.  You need to download Harmony Desktop, which runs in Catalina.  Don't expect all of the features as we had in My Harmony.  As is typical of Logitech, Macs are an afterthought if a thought at all.

NormD, Fully agreed for : " For all the time Logitech had to address this issue this is a pitiful response. When my remote dies, I will not be buying another from Logitech."

I use Harmony One + and Harmony Smart Control and as they ain't able to set MyHarmony 64bits for MacOs Catalina and are "offering" a "last Millenium" replacement solution, I will never buy again any kind of Logitech product until they get back to professional solution.

Cannot sync any remotes, cannot even get a new remote to be recognized. I have Catalina 10.15.4. I tried different USB ports, different cables including the cable it came with and nothing. I keep getting

"We are having trouble communicating with your remote. Please disconnect it from your computer, wait for few moments and reconnect it.

Sync will start automatically when you reconnect."

Any clue how to resolve this or these remotes basically trash at this point?

    Hi jperk10.

I'm impatient to see what will be the support's answer (I mean what the board will ask the support to answer, if answering is allowed).

For me, the sync got sucked with 10.15.3 on one essential product that used to work before (the TVBox-router). I got to make a try with 10.0.4 to see if it's getting blocked earlier. Apparently Apple also changed a few rules (for Safari at least) in regards of security (to avoid to be followed too easily).

Go back to letting us program our remotes from your web page.  You obviously can't write anything usable for a Mac.

Wow. this is just unspeakably heinous for a company to treat loyal customers like this. 3 years to prepare and they just don't. This thread starts out with a promise to have 64 bit programming and that was 7 months ago.

The app is 64-bit. However, it is a poor replacement for the previous app and a lame response to a loyal customer base. The functionality is maybe 50% of the previous app and no upgrades since the first release When my remote dies, I will look to another company. I will avoid anything Logitech.

Come on...I have some new equipment and really need to make some major changes.

I’ve never been able to install the version so I’ve just left the remotes as they are.

I wanted to buy the new Harmony 2400 remote with the wired hub and won’t until I see the software has been fixed and I can do all the things I used to do.

What problems are you having installing the new app?  Maybe some of us can help?  I assume you know there is a new version for 10.15 on their web site.  I just upgraded from the 10.14  version and the install went flawlessly and the app works.  No added functionality, which blows my mind.
