    Dear Customers,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We really appreciate this kind of feedback to help us improve.

Our current solution for people who want to switch both the keyboard and the mouse at the same time is to use our Flow software.

The Logitech Flow Multi-Device Control and Easy File Sharing Software allows the mouse to control the switching between two computers in a fluid way. When your cursor reaches the end of one screen, it will switch to the next computer as if you were using two screens on a single computer, and the keyboard follows. Based on the feedback we get from users, it seems that people really enjoy this functionality.

Your suggestion is a good idea for people who cannot install the Flow software and we will consider this in our future developments.

The main challenge is the need to build some kind of integration using Bluetooth, and the current Bluetooth protocol will require us to design some significant workarounds, including a new hardware redesign.

Although we can't commit to a timeline yet, please know that your feedback has been prioritized by our engineers as a feature request. We'll provide periodic updates on our progress in the Community.

    Best regards,
    Logitech

I have same issue... seems so many bells and whistles but keyboard device selector buttons only swap the keyboard over. Surely it knows the mouse exists?

Unfortunately my 2nd device is a locked down work PC, so unable to install the options software there. Seems it must be installed on both for that feature to work :(

It would have been so elegant, to be able to simply select each device on Keyboard and have it take Mouse with it as a linked device to same receivers.

A real pity, as it spoils an otherwise perfect keyboard/mouse setup.

I just realized that... I quite disappointed... I purchased that specific mouse and keyboard combo (mx master 3 + mx master keys) to switch between locked down work PC (unifying), Android phone (bluetooth) and personal PC (unifying)... Can a software update bring that function?

add me to the list, flow is not for me, id like to be able to manually toggle with the easy keys but not have to manually toggle the mouse as well.

Same perference here, I use MX keys and master3. It's quite annoying to flip and push button to change devices.

As I'm using those on my work pc, it's not an option to install Flow.

Like the others, prefer to have that function to switch mouse and keyboard at once with easy-switch button on MX keys.

    Hope Logitech works on it!

Im not against flow, but due to security reasons my private devices (phone and laptop) are not allowed to connect to the samme network as the work computer.

Having a option to pair an MX keys and MX master mouse to be able to toggle device with the easy switches would be AWESOME!

    Hopes this happens !

    Hi All,

Thank you for reaching Logitech! We deeply apologize for not providing a prompt response as we are attending a high volume of posts in all our community.

As of now, all the devices that has the multi-device connection capability, are still just able to switch over from computer to another using the toggle button.

One of the feature added to have both devices move to another computer is the Logitech Flow. And yes, we understand that not everyone is able to use the Flow feature. As for some users have a restricted access.

We have already forwarded the concern. We cannot promise that it will be implemented but please gather a bit more patience and hope that these feature will be updated soon and be included as a feature/function for future products.

If you have further inquiry, please do not hesitate to reach back to us or contact our support team for direct assistance.

    Regards,

    Logi_Matt

This is an important feature to implement!

If I have Flow installed on each PC, the PCs/Flow already know which keyboard/mouse/PC combinations are associated to each Easy Switch button.

So, for example, if I have MX Keys Easy Switch button 1 and MX Master button 3 assigned to PC #1, and MX Keys Easy Switch button #2 and MX Master button 1 assigned to PC #2, those selections are changed when moving between screens when Flow is enabled. So, Flow obviously knows the mouse/keyboard button selections associated to each PC.

It seems to me that it would be relatively easy for Logitech to make a Flow software update that when an MX Keys Easy Switch button is pressed, Flow would change the associated MX Master mouse selection for the PC that is associated to that Easy Switch button.

So, Logitech - why hasn't this been implemented?

I agree w/ other comments that being able to toggle both mouse and keyboard through the more easily accessible easy-switch keys on the MX Keys would optimize my device swapping workflows.I'm not impacted by the corporate machine issue, but alas one of the machines I want to swap to is and iPad running iPadOS for which there is no option to configure flow. That said... if flow COULD work across a Windows PC and iPadOS experience... that'd be slick, Logitech.

I agree with this feature request. Very disappointed how they didn't see the convenience.

I have both MX Keys and MX Master 3 with my PC and Macbook Pro. Installed logi on both machines for flow control.
Question. Is there a way to setup that when the mouse is moved to the other system then change the keyboard connection to the system as well instead of I need to press the connection button on the keyboard?

    For example,
my PC: mouse connected to M#1, keyboard connected to K#1
my Macbook Pro: mouse connected to M#2, keyboard connected to K#2
my iOs: Keyboard connected to K#3.
Case: when I'm working on PC - connected M#1 and K#1. > move the mouse to MacBookPro, it changes to M#2, then I need to press #2 on Keyboard to change the connection to M#2.
Asking: When M#1 changes to M#2, change K#1 to K#2 automatically and back and forth.

Adding one more request or issue.

When I switched to PC and worked for a while then the mouse move to Mac accidentally, if Mac is locked due to no activity and in lock screen, I cannot bring the mouse back to PC with moving the cursor. I have to press the connection button on the bottom of the mouse. This is very inconvenient. At least they should placed the change connection button on the top not the bottom of the mouse.

Purchased both items today expecting that this functionality existed. Very disappointing it doesn't, an update to include this would be much appreciated and needed!

Logitech Tech Support - Why aren't you responding to this request? There hasn't been any response on this request beyond the initial "high volume of posts" response.

Please let us know if this very basic and expected feature is feasible and truly being worked for a future release.

If it can't be implemented, please let us know the technical reason why it can't be done. I'm a software engineer, so I would appreciate the details of where the technical roadblocks are.

    Thank you!

I guess I will have to write a long review that these set will not work as you think and such a pain to work with.

I think MX Kesy should have an option to leave the light on which connection is active on the keyboard.

I'm always confused that where the keyboard is connected with which machine.

The Mouse is moved to PC but the keyboard is still with Mac. This caused too much typo in the wrong system.

Adding my vote to this too. Wish I could switch both mouse and keyboard with just the keyboard.

    Hey guys,

I think I accidentally found the solution/fix. The function is there. I don't know why @Logi_Matt saying that it doesn't work.

    Steps:
    1. Open your 'Logi Options' preference (click or right click on 'Logi Options' icon and select 'Open Preference')
    2. With Windows 10, it goes to the 'Flow' option page. For Mac, go to your Mouse option. It doesn't show under 'Keyboard' option.
    3. Under 'Flow' option page, look for 'Link keyboard' and 'Select your keyboard'
    4. Close the 'Logi Options' application
    DONE.

Now when my mouse moves to next system, the keyboard changes automatically as well.

Tip. I accidentally move my mouse to the side and mouse switches to other system and I really didn't like it.
You can change this behavior by doing below:
Under 'Flow' option, you can select 'Hold Ctrl and move to the....' under 'Swich between computers' option.
After this option change, you will need to hold down the 'Ctrl' key and move mouse cursor to the side to change computers!!

JimKim8605 - this only works when the mouse controls the switch, and only works on Mac/Windows machines with Logitech Options installed.

The request is that the keyboard can switch both the keyboard and mouse to a desired machine (since Logitech Options is not available in some cases)

Fully agree with this. Need this feature to be added. I'd expect these as default feature with the set for that price.

Thomas Wright - Got it! Thank you for the explanation. That makes sense. Upvoted the original thread. I hope they fix this issue soon.

I am using quite number of keyboard shortcuts and prefer to stay hands-on the keyboard so YES, that option is crucial.

Same for me, Flow is not working on my company PC so I have to flip my mouse all the day in order to switch between my 2 computers :(

For a 200€ 'pro' kit this feature must be implemented ! Please Logi :)

Add me to the list.  This would solve my one lingering 'issue" with this amazing pair (MX Keys and Master 3).

The convenience of being able to select on the keyboard is so un-intuitively matched with an inconvenient under-mouse button.  Flow is cool, but my primary system is Windows, and the second and third I'd like to use are Android and Linux.  In truth, if easy-switch were "paired" properly my third slot would likely connect to a Universal receiver in a KVM - allowing it to server a bunch of PC's.

Looking forward to this - and really hoping it won't require yet another upgrade of devices.

    Hi Logi

A lot of us are working on devices who are not on the same network or locked down computers by the IT, due security reasons.

While Flow is a nice piece of technology, it's essential for a lot of us to have the option to switch both mouse and keyboard using the keyboard buttons. Please implement this so we can truly use the keyboard/mouse duo as you guys intended.

I don't like having to turn my mouse over to switch to another device. I'd like to use the easy switch on the keyboard to switch both devices together without having to use flow. Thanks.

I'm really hoping that because this thread has been marked as Answered (even if incorrectly), that Logitech isn't ignoring this thread entirely now.

It would be a pain to put this into a new support request and start this all over again.

Logitech Support / Logi_Matt - Please let us know if you are still monitoring this thread and pursuing a solution to this problem that many of your paid customers are requesting.

    Thanks,

    Alan
