Logi capture no longer works with zoom

After today's zoom update, I can't use logi capture through zoom anymore. it has been working flawlessly for the past weeks...

  DanRomanchik Zoom 5.0.4 will accept virtual cameras as an input BUT the problem is actually with Logitech Capture app on the Mac. Buried away at the bottom of https://support.logi.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360043221373-Getting-Started-Logitech-StreamCam :

  "Limitations: Mac—No virtual camera".

   

  So they've built an app that doesn't output itself as a virtual camera.

  Thanks for pointing that out. That's very disappointing. Maybe I'll have to pony up the 8 bucks for Webcam Settings. I'm kind of hesitant, though, because it only has a 2.4 rating.

  This is VERY disappointing.  I just installed the newest version of Logitech Capture (2.02.155) and it STILL does not work with Zoom!  On this page (https://www.logitech.com/en-us/video-collaboration/partners/zoom.html), the banner is "LOGITECH + ZOOM" and Logitech claims Zoom is a "partner" and that they have a "partnership."  If you scroll further down that page, to near the bottom, there's a graphic for "Zoom Webcams" and a link right under that for "Shop Webcams."  When I click on that link, it takes me to three choices.  I purchased the best one there, the Brio Ultra HD Pro Webcam for a couple hundred dollars.  I feel like I've been cheated and ripped off by Logitech!  This so-called "New Benchmark for Webcams" has a virtual camera that doesn't work with Zoom, even after this latest update in the software.

  I had a period of time last year when Zoom made some serious upgrades and Logi Capture for the PC did not work, but around the beginning of 2020 with another set of upgrades to Zoom, it suddenly began to work. I suggest you completely uninstall both the Capture program and Zoom from your computer, reboot, and reinstall both programs. This worked for me and I have the latest version of Capture on my computer. I am running Windows 10 and an i7 processor with dedicated graphics and 8 gigs of ram with a C920 webcam. Even the recording features work again where I was getting an infinity screen during that time.

  Also, be sure and choose the Brio in Capture, and then Logi Capture as your video source in Zoom.

  Thanks for the input, James!

  Unfortunately, I installed both the newest Logi Capture software and Zoom on a new workstation with Windows 10 1903.  So in this situation, there was no issue of upgrading.  However, since you had success, I'll give it another try.  If it works, I'll post again.

  I just downloaded the latest version of Logi Capture for macOS, and the program won't even open correctly! All I get is a purple window, the logi logo and a spinning wheel. Seriously disappointing.
