"BT Apple TV 4" profile is missing track skip commands

    I can understand that you'd like to add the provided commands to the AppleTV BT profile. 

    I'd like to inform you that the commands have been already added to the device profile and would request you to remove the device & readd it to see whether the commands work as expected. 

    Note: You need to add the device to the Activities & redo button customization.

    With tvOS 13.4, apps can now react to these and other keyboard keys natively using the new UIKey APIs from Apple: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/uikit/uikeyboardhidusage?language=objc

    I'm glad to know that the commands added to the AppleTV device works perfectly and I'd like to appreciate the time you've taken in letting me know!

    With regard to adding additional commands, I'd like to inform you that the Harmony Database Team has added all the Bluetooth HID commands to the (Apple TV) that are currently compatible with Harmony remotes. Our database team frequently researches for options to expand the list of commands.

    I'd request you to test the commands and let us know whether it works which will help us to add the device to the database.

    Sorry I don't understand. Where were the commands added and how can I test them? Under BT Apple TV 4 there is no change.

    Hi Ralph,

    Can you please clarify? I provided a list of commands which I have tested with tvOS SDK and all confirmed working. Have these been added somewhere I can try them out?

    We have received an update from our Data Team!

    Can you please try adding Windows PC device profile to your Harmony remote and confirm us whether the numerical commands are working with the AppleTV as expected?

    You can add it as follows: 

    Manufacturer: Microsoft

    Model: Windows PC

    Ralph,

    I already tried that and all the commands I listed above are confirmed working via the Windows PC profile. That's why I'm asking them to be copied over to the BT Apple TV 4 profile.

    See for example https://getchannels.com/docs/apps/remote-control/advanced/#harmony-hub-remotes which explains how to add the Windows Computer profile and use these additional keys with the Channels app for Apple TV. I would like for this to be simpler so adding an additional device is not necessary, and does not count against the 8 device limit.

    I now see 0-9 keys added to the profile.

    What about the other ones I asked for?
