I have 4 circle view cameras with a home pod as my home hub. On set up they all worked perfectly. They all worked ok for a few days, then I started having issues with viewing the camera from the home app, I kept getting “no response” from different cameras at different times. The way to resolve this was just to switch them off and on again. After some research it seemed the cameras only run on 2.4hz, so I changed my sky router to only broadcast the 2.4hz and not combine 2.4 with 5 as this can cause the cameras some issues.
After doing this the usability improved a lot but I am still having issues. Even after updating my HomePod and all other devices baring the circle view cameras (no way of forcing this to happen and I can’t even check if they are on the latest software level) I’m still having issues.
Sometimes I get a notification saying “driveway camera offline” i can still view live stream and recordings but it will not do any new recordings.
Sometimes i don’t get any notifications, I’ll check them a day later and find they have been offline for hours and i can not view live stream at all. Again the only way to resolve this is to turn the power off and on again.
This is a fantastic camera with good quality both video and audio we often catch people on the other side of the road in the AM drunk talking to each other as they walk past our house. I just wish Logitech would look into this “no response issue” many many people are having this issue so it must be a software concern (unlikely we are all suffering hardware issues)
