Mine is doing the same thing.  I’ve had it installed for almost a week, it went offline for almost a full day when I was away, came back and it’s been inconsistent.  I’ll get notifications when someone rings the doorbell but when I click to view the recording, it’s not there (even though there’s a freeze-frame in the notification).  I’m not getting event recording notifications either (package was delivered but no notification someone came to the door, another person came to the door, didn’t ring, but knocked and the doorbell didn’t notify us someone was there or didn’t have a recording either).  Any help or ideas how to fix this?

I am having the exact same problem. I have done all the troubleshooting I can think of.

My guess is that this is the answer https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251670315?answerId=253631252022#253631252022

I don’t want to force my HomePod onto a 2.4 GHz channel since that requires splitting up my multichannel WiFi, which is a Fios self organizing network. I wish there was a better solution

I’m the originator of this thread. So, reset the doorbell (unplugged and plugged back in). Worked for a few days then stopped again. Reset again and started recording again. This doorbell supposedly works with 2.4 and 5Ghz WiFi, and I have an eero mesh network that automatically connects via whatever works best. In this case, it connected to the doorbell at 5Ghz. Whatever is going on, it appears that something between Logitech’s hardware and Apple HomeKit isn’t stable.
