I got hopeful that Apple's HomeKit was going to give me better experiences than it has in the past, and bought 4 Logitech Circle View cameras to replace my Wyze cams around the house. Everything worked on par for Homekit for about a week, but then 3 of the cams dropped off the Wifi and wouldn't reconnect. I tried rebooting the cams, the router, and the Home Hub - multiple times and in various combinations. Hours and hours just randomly trying different things. I'm sick of Wifi and Homekit issues, so I've ordered an all new Unifi system to replace my network from the ground up. However...
After removing the cameras from Homekit, I wanted to try to re-add them. I followed the directions to do the reset, the light comes on green, but the cameras will not be found by HomeKit. Then the light turns blue on the Circle View, which is not in any part of the documentation or online reference. This is 100% repeatable. So I have 3 Logitech bricks.
I'm so fed up with HomeKit I want to throw things. Simple light switches are far more secure, far more reliable, and have no latency whatsoever. But... I got used to my cameras and now I'm blind. How can I *actually* reset these things so I can successfully add them back into my HomeKit?
