Follow up to my problem which may help others:
I was trying to save files through my work computer which is connected to a server. This seemed to be causing my issue. Anywhere I tried to save on the server (including my desktop) would not work. However, when I manually dug down through the C: drive and found my username and save files somewhere within that (like Videos) it worked.
Not sure if this will help anyone else but maybe. Good luck. I will also say that Logitech support was responsive (within 12-24 hrs of my emails)

I discovered that my Dell Optiplex 7020 needs a dedicated graphics card in order to render video files. And this is why my recordings would "not save." I was able to deduce this because my video files save, webcam works and capture app works as expected when using my laptop which has ALL the necessary specs for video production.
