    Unfortunately no luck.  I tried both Nicor chimes listed in my original post but neither works.  To be fair I was told by Logitech they wouldn't work as well.  Now I have an expensive doorbell that I will need to sell or find another chime that will work.  Good luck.

    I am in the same boat as you. I installed it and it worked just fine for awhile, then the doorbell would start ringing constantly. I checked the wiring and tightened some things up and that worked for a few days then it started having issues again. Of course it worked perfectly just long enough for it to get beyond the return period.

    That is similar to my problem except that the doorbell rang continuously from the beginning for me.  My doorbell was a holiday present but I didn't get around to installation in time to possibly return it.  I even spoke to an electrician but was told there aren't any great options considering the chime that I presently have.  Overall an expensive failure.
