C920 PRO HD installed as a microsoft camera on windows 10
AnsweredGood afternoon, my c920 pro is automatically detected by windows 10 as a HD Pro Webcam C920 and it uses a microsoft driver.
The driver is version 10.0.1941.964 with date 21/6/2006 and it claims that the manufacturer is microsoft NOT logitech.
I installed all logitech software i found but the driver doesnt change to logitech, if i try to manually install, it reports that the correct driver for the device is allready installed, and if i try to look for drivers though windows update it also reports that i have the correct driver.
i start to believe that my camera is a chinese fake - clone as i cant explain how it uses a microsoft driver and not a logitech one.
There is a sticker on the box with the product number M/N: VU0060 and the serial number of the camera is 2107LZ925N59
Can you help identify if this is a genuine or fake camera and why it uses a microsoft driver instead of a logitech one?
