I have the same problem.  Doorbell light is off in HomeKit settings, unit is extremely hot, it's 82 outside after a 100' day.  I removed it from HomeKit, took 3 times to reset it after allowing it to cool down, got it back online, reinstalled it and 15 minutes later, 'No Response' and offline.  Checked it again and it is very hot without the light on.  Very frustrating indeed.

Same issue here - it's early AM and doorbell is in the shade.  I removed it from the base and it's VERY warm to the touch - no way it should be using that much power.

Something very wrong with this design.  So pissed I ever spent my money.

Can someone at Logitech tell us what the optimum transformer voltage and VA is?  I have 18v and 10VA.  When someone presses the doorbell, it seems to take the doorbell offline for 5-10 seconds (not ideal timing).  It happens most times but not every time.  Mine is hot, but only goes offline 2-3 times day.
