Circle View was the worst $200 I've ever spent

I was pulled in by the HomeKit integration, but my experience with the Circle View was the worst experience I've had with a gadget in forever. I've spent 95% of my time with it so far trying to make it simply stay online and now I'm past my return window so I'm stuck with this wretched thing. I replaced a Ring doorbell that was in the same exact location, same wireless signal and that camera never went down a single time in 2+ years of use, outside of a home Internet disconnect which didn't have anything to do with the camera itself.

The Circle View never sees the sun, it's on a shaded porch, my Eero is showing that the camera consistently has max signal (it's less than 20 feet from a base unit)... I've even gone so far as to completely disable everything except the bare minimum (let someone ring the doorbell and it would notify me) and it STILL won't stay online consistently. It always gets the point where it just completely locks up where the night light will stay frozen on even in broad daylight and I have to pull it off the base and it's always really hot to the touch like it's been sitting there in overheat mode.

I've already gone through a support ticket loop and everything that was suggested did not fix the problems.

I'm just beside myself for throwing $200 out the window (or, front door).

Please, to anyone saying to themselves "these people don't know what they're doing, I can make this thing work... the bad reviews are just noobs", DO NOT FALL FOR IT... it's an amazing device on paper, but in execution it's seriously flawed.
