M1Max MacBook Pro cannot launch "camera setting" prompt "No camera was detected. Please connect a camera and launch the Application again."
AnsweredI cannot launch the Logitech camera setting app since I have updated to m1max chip MacBook Pro. It used to works fine with my MacBook Pro with intel chip. The system I currently have is macOs12.0 Montery. I have tried to delete the app and re-downloaded, downloaded an older version, disconnect it and reconnect, and I also checked privacy setting as well, the issue cannot be solved.

Hello MinHao,
Thank you for reaching out and we appreciate that you have tried the steps. We kindly request you to try a few more steps as provided below:
• Uninstall G-HUB. Download the latest G-Hub installer https://support.logitech.com/software/lghub
• IMPORTANT: Before running the installer, go to System Preferences › Security & Privacy and unlock the preferences by clicking the Lock icon in the bottom left and entering your admin credentials.
• Now run the G-Hub installer.
• Follow all the prompts.
• Complete the installation.
• Once done, launch System Preferences.
• Click on Security & Privacy.
• Click the Privacy tab.
• In the left panel, click on Accessibility and check the boxes under Logitech G-Hub to provide access. If you are unable to interact with the checkboxes, please click the lock icon on the bottom left corner and then check the boxes.
• If a feature requires access to any specific item such as System Events or Finder, you will see a prompt the first time you use this feature.
• Please note that this prompt appears only once, requesting access for a specific item. If you deny access, all the other features that need access to the same item will not work and another prompt will not be shown.
• Click OK to allow access for Logitech G-Hub so that you can continue to use these features.
• In case you click Don’t Allow, use the following steps to allow access manually:
• Launch System Preferences.
• Click Security & Privacy.
• Click the Privacy tab.
• In the left panel, click Automation and then check the boxes under Logitech G-Hub to provide access. If you are unable to interact with the checkboxes, please click the lock icon on the bottom left corner and then check the boxes.
• NOTE: If a feature still doesn’t work after you grant access, please reboot the system.Regards,
Arvind T M

Hello MihHao,
Thank you for following up on your case.
Logitech devices and software are only compatible with the device's listed operating systems. As Apple and Microsoft release new operating systems we will assess their requirements and our hardware and software compatibility.
