    Hi Evan,

Please confirm the device model (4K Pro Webcam or Brio 4K Ultra) to check and assist you accordingly.

Having the same problem with some Logitech c270s, as well as two other non Logitech cameras. The problem I believe lies with Monterey and mjpeg support. Hopefully apple creates a fix because it’s unlikely to come from Logitech.

Ironically, I never used the mjpeg modes, because I’d the extra processing overhead delay, but yeah, it’s not there now.

    Hi Evan,

The system requirements for 4K Pro Webcam are:

Windows 7 or later (Windows 8.1 or higher required for resolutions greater than 1080p)
    macOS 10.10 or later
    Chrome OS 29.0.1547.70 or later
2 GB RAM or more needed for 1080p video streaming
1GB is typically needed for streaming 720p
One USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port (4K recording and streaming requires a USB 3.0 port and compatible third party software)
    Works with popular calling platforms

Please refer to the below link for troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

    Hi Paras,

C270 is compatible with Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.10 or later, Chrome OS, USB - A port & works with popular calling platforms.

That link goes to a 404 not found.

The computers I’m using meet or exceed those requirements.

Can we do some actual troubleshooting? Move drivers from Big Sur?

Is there a fellow developer, or a level 2 technician I can speak to?

So.. that’s it? No support offered? With a link that doesn’t go anywhere?

    Hi Evan,

    I'm experiencing the same issue.

It seems macOS related, Monterey "is not offering up a JPEG-compress feed from Logitech cameras. Only an uncompressed stream is offered." according to this:

    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253301146?answerId=256208888022#256208888022

And all (high resolution) webcams seem to experience this issue in macOS Monterey according to https://support.ecamm.com/en/articles/5704596-significant-delay-when-using-a-usb-webcam-in-4k-mode-on-macos-monterey

Not sure if its something Logitech can fix or Apple.

I can't find a solution to the problem, but these two workarounds might help you:

1 - downgrade to the previous macOS, so that is Big Sur.

2 - try streaming in a lower resolution

(I cry at the thought of both, but I'm probably downgrading to Big Sur as I need 4K resolution)

I’d love to downgrade to Big Sur, but that’s impossible on an M1 Pro, hah. I’ve tried though.

I’ve been streaming at a lower resolution, which sucks because I would crop into the 90 degree 4K image and pan around it with various moves, to simulate a camera move.

Ah yes of course, that sucks.

If you have a machine available that’s not critical to your production workflow you might want to try the latest macOS beta.
It might have the fix, (its not known what fixes it has).

Yeah, I’ve asked on macrumors if anyone has tested it for that problem yet. Keeping a close eye on it for sure.
