Camera Status Light & Night Vision light turns on when selected off

    I have the same issue for the Logitech Circle View camera, recently installed it, works nicely and with no network issues, but every one or two days the camera turns on the IR light and the status led on its own. If I turn them off again via Home.app, the get turned off indeed, but in a day or two they get switched back on on their own. It’s very inconvenient; how can I make the settings stick?

    I am having the very same issue with iOS 16 and the Circle View camera (FW 8.2.64) on the iPhone. On the iPhone the switch flips back automatically (on its own) and I cannot deactivate the status light. On the iPad, I can activate the switch, but it has no effect on the status light.

    Long story short, the status light is always on now.

    I already completely reset the HomeKit room/place, the camera etc… set everything up from scratch…. to no avail!

    I’m having the same issue since update. It appears the issue occurs if there’s a power interruption or the circle view restarts. When this happens, my night vision and status light are reactivated. This didn’t happen in previous iOS versions. I’m on iOS16. Super annoying going into settings to turn those off ever couple days.

     

    Update: it seems to happen without the power loss. Happens daily for me. This is the only homekit device (I have many) with an issue.

    Update: I have been back and forth with a Logitech support representative for the past two and a half weeks. Been asked to reset the camera and re-register it with HomeKit, then the same thing again with another iOS device, then the same thing again but set it up in its own room. The camera was already set in its own room in HomeKit, I have had it reset multiple times and set up again as new manually with several of my devices, but for the sake of it I did all of it again. The camera still turned on the toggles on its own again, I let the support representative know and he replied that they'll get back to me, which hasn't happened yet. Oddly enough, the issue seems to have gone away since then; it's been close to about a week, so I'm still monitoring the situation. It's worth noting that my Circle View has had no power outages or restarts (that I know of) in the meanwhile in all the time that I've had it: not that it's an excuse, however, these settings should persist between restarts in any case.
