Use the following steps to connect your Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover to your iPad:

• iOS 6

• iOS 5 and earlier

iOS 6

1. With your iPad turned on, tap the Settings icon.

   

2. In Settings, tap Bluetooth.

   

3. If the on-screen switch beside Bluetooth doesn't currently show as ON, tap it once to enable Bluetooth on your iPad.

   

4. On your Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, move the power switch to ON — the area to the left of the switch should be green.

   

5. Press the Bluetooth button. The status LED should start blinking.

   

   The Ultrathin Keyboard Cover should shortly become visible on the iPad screen.

6. Tap once on the name of the device you want to pair.

   

7. If prompted, type the PIN code shown on-screen, and then press Enter. If you're not prompted for a code, the keyboard should immediately pair and you can skip this step.

   NOTE: Each connect code is randomly generated. Make sure you enter the one shown on your iPad screen. (The name of your keyboard might be different from what is shown above.)

   Connected should show next to your keyboard in the Devices list to indicate that your Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad is connected.

   

iOS 5 and earlier

1. With your iPad turned on, tap the Settings icon.

   

2. In Settings, tap General and then Bluetooth.

   

3. If the on-screen switch beside Bluetooth doesn't currently show as ON, tap it once to enable Bluetooth on your iPad.

   

4. On your Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, move the power switch to ON — the area to the left of the switch should be green.

   

5. Press the Bluetooth button. The status LED should start blinking.

   

   The Ultrathin Keyboard Cover should shortly become visible on the iPad screen.

6. Tap once on the name of the device you want to pair.
