Harmony Touch can be upgraded to work like a Harmony Ultimate by adding a Harmony Ultimate Hub to your account. You can either:

• Upgrade Harmony Touch with a Harmony Ultimate Hub

• Restore your Harmony Touch to use your Harmony Ultimate Hub independently

Upgrade Harmony Touch with a Harmony Ultimate Hub

1. Log in to your account on myharmony.com.

   NOTE: You can't upgrade your Harmony Touch by adding it to a Harmony Ultimate Hub account.

2. Select Upgrade from the left panel.

3. Click Add Hub Now and follow the instructions.

4. On the Harmony Ultimate Hub features screen, click OK.

   You should see an information page that shows how the Harmony Ultimate Hub will work with your entertainment device setup. Click the links for additional information, and then click Next to continue.

5. Connect the Harmony Touch and click Next to complete the firmware update.

6. Plug the Harmony Ultimate Hub into a power outlet close to the remote and PC.

7. Wait 30 seconds and then press the Pair/Reset button.

8. Once pairing is complete, enter a name for your hub.

9. Complete your Wi-Fi connection.

   NOTE: You'll be given options for different Wi-Fi networks. If you have trouble finding your Wi-Fi network, see answer 360023257454. If you skip Wi-Fi, you'll be in extender mode, and you won't be able to use the Harmony app.

10. Follow the prompts to complete the remote update with the new settings and to complete the firmware upgrade on the hub.

When the upgrade is complete, you should see the Harmony Touch home page showing the options available for a Harmony Ultimate remote. The remote will now work like a Harmony Ultimate.

NOTE: Harmony Ultimate remote features won't be available on your upgraded Harmony Touch, including haptic feedback and tilt sensor.

Restore your Harmony Touch to use your Harmony Ultimate Hub independently

1. Log in to your account on myharmony.com.

2. Select your Harmony Touch remote from the Welcome screen.

3. Click Settings.

4. Click More.

5. Click Remove Hub or Remote.

6. Connect your Harmony Touch and then click the Next.

   NOTE: This enables a firmware upgrade to restore it back to a Harmony Touch account.

7. Click Next after the update completes to do a factory reset for the hub.

8. Connect the Harmony Ultimate Hub, and click Next after it is detected.

9. Click Done to confirm the firmware update, and then click Close on the information screen.

Your Harmony Ultimate Hub can now be set up using myharmony.com in the same account or with a new account.
