Choose your email client:
- AOL Webmail
- Hotmail
- Google Mail (Gmail)
- Thunderbird
- Windows Live Mail
- Yahoo! Mail (Old)
- Yahoo! Mail (New)
Make sure you choose to receive mail from all senders.

Click Settings at the top of the page. 
- 
Select Spam Controls. 
- 
Under ‘Additional Spam Filters’, click the ‘Control From Whom I Get Email’ button. 
- 
A new window appears. Choose the first option listed ‘Allow mail from all senders’. 
- 
Click Save. 
Add your senders to your Safe List:
- 
Click Options on the right side. 
- 
Choose Mail. 
- 
Click ‘Junk Email Protection’. 
- 
Click ‘Safe List. 
- 
Type your contact’s email address into the text field and click Add. 
Make sure the people you wish to receive mail from are included in your Contacts list.
- 
Click Contacts on the left. 
- 
Click Create Contact. 
- 
Enter the name and email address of the person and click Save. 
Add your contacts to your address book:
- 
Go to Tools > Junk Mail Controls. 
- 
Click File > New… 
- 
Enter your contact’s name and email address. 
- 
Click OK. 
Add your senders to your Allowed List:
- 
Click Options on the right side. 
- 
Click More Options from the drop-down list. 
- 
Choose ‘Allowed and Blocked Senders’. 
- 
Click ‘Allowed Senders’. 
- 
Type sender’s email address into the text box and click ‘Add to List’. 
Create a filter to send all incoming messages to your inbox:

Click Options on the right side. 
- 
Click Filters on the right side. 
- 
Click Add. 
- 
Beside the ‘from contains’ line, enter the contact’s email address and click ‘Add’. 
Create a filter to send incoming mail to your inbox:
- 
Click Options at the top right. 
- 
Click More Options from the drop-down list. 
- 
You will be redirected to the Yahoo Classic interface. Follow the instructions in Yahoo! Mail (Classic) above.
