During the normal operation of the MX 5000 mouse, the lights on the left side of the mouse (shown above) will indicate the battery charge status of the mouse.

When the battery is fully charged, all three lights will appear solid green.

As the battery charge decreases, the lights will go out until one green light is left over. This indicates a 10-30% charge remains in the mouse..

A single red light indicates the battery level is critical and will require recharging.
