Many of the buttons on your Harmony 200 remote are standard remote buttons. However, some buttons may not be as familiar. Take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the buttons on your Harmony remote and learn how easy it is to access the special features of your Harmony remote.
Watch TV – Turns on your TV and cable/satellite box.
TV – Puts the remote into TV mode, giving you direct control of your television.
CABLE – Puts the remote into cable/satellite mode, giving you direct control of your cable or satellite box.
DVD – Puts the remote into DVD mode, giving you direct control of your DVD player.
Input – Changes the current source input. Pressing the Input button repeatedly cycles through the available inputs.
Power – Turns the currently selected device on or off.
Up/Down arrows – Lets you navigate the menu system on a device, if you have a device with this feature.
Menu – Gives you access to the menu system on a device, if you have a device with this feature.
Exit – Exits from the Guide feature.
Info – Gives you additional information on program listings, if you have a device with the Guide feature.
Guide – Opens the on-screen guide showing program listings, if you have a device with this feature.
Colored buttons – These four buttons are designed for use with the on-screen menu for some cable boxes, but can be customized to send any command you want.
Vol – Increases or decreases the volume through your television regardless of which device mode you are in.
Up/Down/Right/Left/OK – Lets you move through menus or on-screen guides.
Ch – Changes the television channel.
Mute – Mutes the sound through your television.
List – Brings up a list of recorded programs, if you have a device with this feature.
Live – Goes to live TV, if you have a device with this feature.
Previous – Returns you to the previous television channel you were on.
Play area (DVD controls) – Gives you access to the rewind, fast-forward, play, pause, record and stop DVD controls.
Number pad – Gives you direct channel access with the digits 0-9. The Enter button enters a selection from the number pad. The Clear button clears an entry from the number pad.enters a selection from the number pad. The Clear button clears an entry from the number pad.
