Because MX Mechanical has mechanical switches and each key is backlit with an LED, it does not have a dedicated LED as on MX Keys. When Caps Lock is enabled, the Caps Lock key blinks at a speed of 100ms to tell you it’s enabled. When disabled, it will go back to the backlighting effect you’ve selected.
Installing Options+ will allow you to have an on-screen notification when it’s enabled.
