To ensure efficient charging for your wireless rechargeable device, we recommend the following:

  1. Use the supplied cable (if available): Always use the original charging cable that came with your Logitech product. It's specifically tested to deliver the correct power flow. If there’s none, you can always use a different charging cable with the same specifications.
  2. Direct connection: Connect the cable into your device, and plug the standard USB end directly into an available USB port on your computer. Note that not all computer ports are transmitting the same power; make sure you’re plugging the device on the USB port with the same specifications.
  3. Avoid extreme temperatures: For long-term battery health, avoid charging your device in excessively hot or cold environments (ex. near a heater or inside a hot car).
  4. Charging flexibility: There is no need to completely drain the battery before charging. You can safely plug in your device whenever the battery indicator signals a low charge.
  5. Avoid using while charging: Allow the charging process to complete before resuming use. Using the device while charging could affect the battery health and performance over time. 
    NOTE: This guidance does not apply to the Logitech G POWERPLAY wireless charging system.
  6. Use the recommended charging specifications: For most Logitech devices, the supported charging specifications are listed in the product support page, which can be referred before using the PC’s USB ports or buying a USB adapter for your device. It will be specified in terms of Voltage & current, Example - 5VDC 0.5A.
