To help switch your keyboard layout to Japanese (JIS) on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices. Please follow the instructions below:

For Windows Devices

• Open Language Settings:
  • Press the Windows key, type Language settings, and press Enter.
• Add Japanese:
  • Click Add a language, search for Japanese, click NEXT, and then Install.
• Switch Layout:
  • Click the language icon in the taskbar and choose Japanese (Microsoft IME).
    

For macOS Devices

• Open Keyboard Settings:
  • Go to the Apple menu → System Settings → Keyboard.
  • Next to "Text Input," click Edit.
  • In the new window that appears, click the plus sign (+) in the bottom-left corner.
• Add Japanese:
  • Scroll to Japanese, and select your preferred layout (Kana or Romanji).
• Switch Layout:
  • Use the input menu in the menu bar and select Japanese.

For Android Devices

• Open Keyboard Settings:
  • Go to Settings → System → Languages & Input → On-Screen Keyboard.
• Add Japanese:
  • Tap your keyboard (ex. Gboard), go to Languages → Add Keyboard, select Japanese, and set a layout.
• Switch Layout:
  • Tap the globe icon on the keyboard until Japanese appears.

For iOS Devices

• Go to Keyboard Settings:
  • Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards.
• Add Japanese:
  • Tap Add New Keyboard, select Japanese, and choose Kana or Romaji layout.
• Switch Layout:
  • Use the globe icon on the keyboard to select Japanese.
