    Hello,

Thanks for your answer, but you you have not correctly interpreted what I said.

I already had installed Logitech Option on my computers (mac & windows), and I already can seamlessly  switch between devices. That is not my demand.
What I asked, is to have the mac layout on windows without swap of some keys.
As I reinstall (by formating my SSD) windows 10, I can see that the Apple Layout isn't installed with Option at all... So, under windows10, the MX Keys for mac have a standard AZERTY FR layout, not an Apple mac layout.

I'll go to see the ticket you opened.
    Thanks anyway.

    hi..

i have a similar (the same..) issue with my "qwertz" DE Layout.. the keys ^+° and <+> are swapped.

Logi Options in most recent version already is installed on my mac and on the 'work' w10 device.

Any advice? Any option to change on logitech side?

Or do i really have to use the kbdedit Tool  (http://www.kbdedit.com) ?

    Thanks and kind regards,

    pcp

    Hello,

For my experience, I had to use SharpKeys to reaffect the keys.

I think it should be done with the Keyboard Manager from Windows Powertoys : Microsoft PowerToys | Microsoft Docs, I haven't tried this.

Did you installed the apple driver for apple keyboard from bootcamp ?
I don't know the layout of the DE Keyboard, it may be similar to the windows DE layout...

I had some discussion with the support, and they don't really understand the problem... Or they won't understand.

So they won't be any help in this.
For me, The MX Keys for mac is totally usable on windows, but It need the Apple Layout installed. But Logitech don't provide such a layout... for those who use windows not in bootcamp environnement (where the apple keyboard driver is installed), but on a PC Windows.

I hope SharpKeys will do what you want to do (as it did for me), I may try on my side the Powertoys :)

    Have a good day

    Hello pcp

I spent serverals emails with Logitech support, and there are impervious to what I was asking : put in their Option software, a mac layout keyboard for windows...

There will be no chance we're having this... So I wrote a tutorial to use the MX Keys for Mac with a windows computer. ( It's linked to another tutorial to get captial accented letters, may not usefull for you :) )

It more explained that the only screenshot I gave you some times ago.
    It's on GitHub : https://github.com/MilesTEG1/Logitech-MX-Keys-for-mac--avec-Windows

In summary, it describe how to install what's needed in windows to have the Apple keyboard layout.
For me it's AZERTY FR, but you can adapt the tutorial to your language easily

Let me know if you need help (on GitHub).

I post this on those topic :

    Hi Pilou,

thanks again for taking the time to spread this on github, and as well for spreading it here =) Really appreciated!!

I discussed this with my companies IT guys and was told to use the keyboard, the company gave me, instead of using untested 3rd party tools (untested from their point of view..) ..

Bottom line for me: i stored your infos in my notes and will be prepared the next time!

For now, my company does not care about my cluttered homeoffice desk, as it seems  :'( and forces me to either get used to the mixed keys on the mx keys for mac (when attached to win10), or use the provided keyboard. =/

Thanks my friend for your patience with the logitech support, for digging into this and finding a solution (a solution, the logitech support should have come with in the first place!!) and finally... for taking the time to share!!!

byee and have a great sunday

    Dear Customers,

Thanks for reaching out. We would suggest you try the steps provided below:

    1. Kindly press the FN and U keys for 3 seconds and release both keys. This solves the reverse key problem.

    2. For mac: When you connect an external keyboard to your Mac, it usually automatically recognizes the type of keyboard (there are three types: ANSI, ISO (Europe) and JIS (Japan)). If you encounter such a problem, your Mac has probably identified the MX Keys as an ISO configuration and needs to manually indicate what type it is. Could you change the keyboard type from your Mac's settings? To do this:

On your Mac, choose Apple menu> System Preferences, then click Keyboard.

Click Change keyboard type, then follow the onscreen instructions. Must choose ANSI.

Note: You can also change the keyboard layout using Fn+O/P for mac and windows.

In case if you need any additional support, please write back to us.

    Regards,
    Saurav T

Hey fellow FR layout user, I had the same problem with @ and < keys swapped, and the fn + U trick worked out for me.
