Logitech offers two versions of Logitech Gaming software (LGS):
  • LGS 5.10 — used by some older Logitech gamepads, wheels, and joysticks
  • LGS 8.x and higher 
NOTE: For a list of Logitech gaming devices that use LGS 5.10, see Logitech game devices compatible with Logitech Gaming Software 5.10.

You can have both versions installed on your computer at the same time. In order for both versions to work, however, you'll need to make sure that you've installed them in the correct order:
  1. Install LGS 5.10.
  2. Install current version of LGS.
If you have both versions and are running into issues, try the following:
  1. Uninstall both versions of LGS.
  2. Reinstall LGS 5.10.
  3. Reinstall the current version of LGS.
