I confirm that it happens even without having ever opened the app after turning on the pc
I don't use a laptop but a desktop pc
mx keys + mx master 3
it's not so much an error but it seems that it fails to close processes when windows need to shut down or restart
never happened with the old version of Option software

It never works, I have a Kraft Keyboard and a MX Master 2S, I thought it would be good hardware and will be fine but this stupid Logitech Option Mgr always crashes. I tried to reinstall everything in Windows Safe mode, but it changes nothing. I searched for many hours on internet, a lots of peoples have the same problem and can't solve it. Logitech software is garbage.

Why it sends UDP packets on each network interface ?
My VPN server logs a lot of errors about packets with source IP equal to destination IP (udp port 59817).
If you unable to automagically detect VPN interfaces, then add ability to limit on what interfaces `Flow` should be working.
PS. Application still does not show images of devices if installed on case-sensitive filesystem. -

this crap software only serves to set 4 mouse and keyboard things and it sure crashes on you as well as everyone
the sad thing is that if they knew how to solve the problem they would have done it already -
Logitech is good for hardware but is pathetic for software. I want to control a MX Keys Kbd, and a MS Performance Mouse (older version). I have installed Logitech Options first, then it pushed me to upgrade to Logi Options+. It seems this is in beta. Every time I shutdown or reboot my PC, a message from Windows shows up saying that one of the Options components logioptionsmgr.exe or logioptionsmgrsmooth or logitechappbroker is still running and the computer has to wait until I kill the process, otherwise it sits like that. That's a pain. It's my only app that does this. On top of that my mouse is not even detected by this app, so I have to install another Logitech app for the mouse L. Control Center. Pathetic #$@^&*%^&. Shame on you Logitech you took a major decision to replace the older software with new software. DO IT RIGHT. Now it's a mess, first of all nobody knows what software is for what, on the download page we have Logi Options+, Logitech options, Logitech Control Center (old). Most of the times their new software is in beta. That's my last time I buy Logitech

I have make clean install and same problems is still there.
This forum thread should be reported to developers, if they does not know how to fix own bugs i belive Logitech should find new developers, You have solid and good hardware but without software you have semi-finished product. I cannot recommend Logitech mice and keyboards to anyone more.

Still 3 annoying issue with LogiOption+
1) When you use Universal Control between two Macs, very often Mx master 3 change scroll settings, from fluid to mechanical, without even opening the app. I need to open Option+ and change again the scrolling preferences.
2) Still can't use button with Universal control even if both Macs have LogiOption+ installed, I suppose this is a software limitation and impossible to change for now
3) Still cannot assign profiles to CrossOver hosted apps, really limiting the use of MX Master to game on macOS

Logi Option+ is nowhere NEAR ready. On my Intel-powered Mac running macOS 12.5.1, Logi Options+ supports neither my MX Keys keyboard, nor my MX Anywhere 2S mouse, explicitly stating no support yet for the latter. Logitech Options performs adequately, even if it doesn't do anything solve the jitter I experience with the mouse, nor the aggressive 'sleep' setting on the keyboard. Note that I'm using Bluetooth at the moment, but it doesn't seem to matter much which connection option I choose. Then there's the Logitech unifying receiver app or w/e it's called, and the Logi Bolt app.
Might I suggest rolling these various piecemeal apps into a single (unifying??) app? In any case, don't offer me the option to upgrade to Logi Options+ "to get the most out of my Logitech devices" when it can't even handle basic pairing. Get - it - together. You used to at least seem like you knew what you were doing.

My current setup is MX3 mouse and MX Mechanical keyboard.
I can't install Logitech Options+ on 3 different Windows 10 PC's (2 desktops and 1 laptop).
Options+ installer window disappears during installation process (this applies to the last and all previous releases of Options+).In Event Viewer / Windows Logs / Application I get same Error on all devices:

- elevated cmd: sfc /scannow
- repair all MS Visual C++ redistributables (2008,2010,2012,2013,2015-2022)
- clean Windows 10 startup
- disable AV software
- run install as new windows 10 admin user
- windows 10 updated to latest updates
- uninstalled logitech options (which works fine but doesn't have support for MX mechanical)

Hi, I'm currently on an M1 powered iMac, and an almost bare installation of logi options+ is using 878MB of RAM! I am controlling an MX mouse and Keyboard and that is way too much RAM for it. Memory leak?
If you need something to help debug this I'm happy to help. Otherwise, I'll revert to the old app (hoping that it doesn't use that much RAM)...

The only solution to bugs and memory leaks I've found is: switching to SteerMouse. SteerMouse is super optimized, it supports every MX master 3 features, can create profiles with every app even Crossovers ones. You can see it in my video (Italian) the software is not good looking but works:
