If your iPad does not recognize the Combo Touch Keyboard, and nothing happens when you type, try the following:
Check that the iPad is securely placed inside the Combo Touch Keyboard case and the connection between the case and keyboard is firm.
Clean the Smart Connectors using a cotton swab lightly moistened with 99% alcohol.
First remove the iPad, locate and wipe the three Smart Connector pads on both the back of the iPad and on the holder.
Also wipe the three Smart Connector pads located on the top spine of the keyboard and the five pads located on the bottom of the holder.
