Check power and connections
- Replace the batteries or fully charge your mouse if it is wireless.
- Ensure all cables and power cords are firmly connected and not damaged.
Look for physical damage
- Inspect cables, connectors, and USB receivers for visible damage.
- Try plugging your mouse or USB receiver into a different USB port or another computer.
Reduce wireless interference
- For Bluetooth or wireless devices, move other electronics away from your mouse and USB receiver to prevent wireless interference.
(For Windows) Adjust power settings
- Open Device Manager on your Windows computer.
- Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers > Right-click USB Root Hub > Select Properties.
- Under the Power Management tab, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
(For Windows) Test in Safe Mode
- Restart your computer in Safe Mode.
- Check if your mouse continues to restart. If not, it might be a software issue.
Reset your mouse
